BravoCon brought plenty of unexpected drama this year, including a moment where Kyle Richards was confronted with accusations that she hadn’t been friendly to some fellow Housewives.
One interaction in particular, involving Stacey from The Real Housewives of Potomac, quickly became a hot topic among fans.
During a fan Q&A, an audience member claimed Stacey had been excited to meet Richards, but Richards “was not really friendly toward her,” according to Stacey.
Richards appeared genuinely confused and immediately turned to Tamra Judge for clarification, asking who Stacey was. Tamra put her mic down and quietly explained which Housewife Stacey is.
Kyle then addressed the room directly, offering an honest explanation for the misunderstanding.
“I have to say, that’s not a comment that usually comes from people because I am always friendly with everyone,” Kyle said. “But I’m just going to be honest, and this is not going to go well with everyone, I don’t watch reality television. I don’t watch all these shows. And I don’t know a lot of the newer people.”
Even after Tamra tried to help by describing Stacey as being “from QVC 6 foot tall and beautiful,” Kyle still didn’t recall the encounter. She emphasized that it’s not in her nature to come off rude, saying it was not like her “to be rude to anyone.”
Tamra also told the crowd she had Kyle’s back later on. When asked who the “thirstiest” Housewife was, Tamra named Stacey.
Kyle reiterated that the disconnect wasn’t personal — she simply doesn’t keep track of every cast member in the sprawling Housewives universe.
“I dont know all the cast numbers from all the shows. That’s just a fact. But I’m always nice to people.”
She also addressed another recent assumption from Ashley Darby, explaining that Ashley thought she saw tension between Kyle and Erika Jayne. Kyle clarified that couldn’t be further from the truth, saying Erika and she “are extremely close and never had an argument.”
