At BravoCon 2025, Andy Cohen dropped the kind of revelation that only the Housewives universe can deliver — and fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are already spiraling.
Speaking to Us Weekly in Las Vegas on Friday, November 14, Cohen made it clear that there’s no rush to announce what’s next for the franchise. As he put it, “When it’s right.”
That simple line says a lot — and the reason behind the delay is exactly what fans suspected: the never-ending feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
Cohen didn’t hold back when explaining why production hasn’t moved forward. He revealed that the explosive family drama was a major consideration, saying “That’s one of the reasons we didn’t pick cameras up.” After years of public falling-outs and shaky reconciliations, he stressed that the two women need to handle this one privately, adding, “They have to do this for themselves. It should have nothing to do with us.”
So what now? Cohen kept things open-ended, teasing viewers with “We’ll see how it plays out.”
RHONJ has been on ice since season 14 wrapped in August 2024 — and to say the cast wasn’t getting along would be an understatement. The season featured Teresa, Melissa, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler… and most of them ended the season on frosty terms. Tensions were so intense that even the traditional reunion — the annual cage match of Housewives history — was scrapped entirely because several cast members refused or were unable to be in the same room.
With emotions high and relationships fractured, Bravo seems to be taking an unprecedented pause. And if Cohen’s comments are any indication, the network may be waiting for a miracle-level détente before rolling cameras again.
One thing is certain: whatever comes next for RHONJ, fans will be watching — and waiting — for the drama to explode all over again.
