Vicki Gunvalson Calls It “Ridiculous” If Shannon Beador Doesn’t Approve of Her Reconciliation With Tamra Judge

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County have something to celebrate: Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge are officially back on friendly terms — and they’re not letting anyone, including Shannon Beador, get in the way.

“I’ve known Vicki longer than anybody, and I don’t think anybody should dictate who you can be friends with and can’t be friends with,” Tamra, 58, told Us Weekly on Wednesday, November 5, while supporting FlavCity Café. “I think Vicki’s the same.”

Vicki, 63, chimed in, confirming their no-drama approach: “That’s why we met, because we don’t care what other people think.”

The reconciliation was first reported on November 7, revealing that Vicki and Tamra have moved past their previous differences. The duo, along with Shannon, 61, used to be inseparable, even launching a “Tres Amigas” tour inspired by their friendship.

So, what does Shannon think about this renewed bond? According to Vicki and Tamra, they’re not losing sleep over it.

“No, I mean, no. And if she is, it’s ridiculous,” Vicki explained. “I can talk to whoever I want. I can call whoever I want. I can be friends with whoever I want. We’re not bashing Shannon. We were actually having a great conversation. Tamra said she loves Shannon.”

Tamra added a candid reflection on the complexities of friendship: “When you really, really love somebody and you get hurt by that person, you know there’s visceral reactions that happen.”

Looking back on their iconic “Tres Amigas” days, Vicki couldn’t help but smile:

“My God, we had such a fun time. We did traveling and falling and singing and dancing, and neither one of us knows how to do it. I mean, we had a blast.”

Much of their reconnection happened away from the cameras while partnering with FlavCity Café — a brand-new line of all-in-one instant lattes from FlavCity. Tamra explained that their conversation was refreshingly normal:

“Vicki and I don’t sit there and talk about the show. We talk about our kids, and she updated me on [her daughter] Briana and her son [Michael] and where they’ve moved to. Her relationship, my relationship — that kind of stuff.”

After navigating countless dramatic seasons on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki is clearly prioritizing peace over the chaos. She’s keeping things positive and steering clear of unnecessary drama — and she’s staying tight-lipped about a potential return for season 20.

“I want a nice life. I’ll fight to have a nice life,” she said. “I have a beautiful life. So do you [Tamra].”

Clearly, Vicki and Tamra’s renewed friendship is all about authenticity and shared memories — not reality TV drama. Sometimes, the best reconnections happen when no one else is watching.
