After a sudden delay following her recent arrest, Bravo has officially rescheduled Dr. Wendy Osefo’s appearance on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.
Originally slated to premiere on October 14, the episode will now air Sunday, November 9 at 9 p.m. ET, according to Deadline.
Osefo, known for her commanding presence on The Real Housewives of Potomac, stars in the aptly titled episode “All Is Ferret in Love and War.” According to Bravo’s episode logline, “The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo, who runs her busy Maryland household prioritizing strict rules, a tight schedule and education at the forefront, swaps lives with free-spirited Floridian Alethea Shapiro, who prioritizes fun, independence, absolutely no rules and … ferrets.”
The network teases viewers with a pressing question: “Will Dr. Wendy be able to find the balance between structure and fun? Can Alethea bring a little more spontaneity to the Osefo family?”
The scheduling shake-up follows legal drama that put the spotlight on Osefo for reasons outside reality TV. As first reported by TMZ, Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were booked on multiple charges, including seven felonies. “The Osefos are facing 16 charges, which include seven felonies for allegedly making false insurance claims,” the outlet stated. According to the report, the couple filed a $450,000 insurance claim after claiming their home was burglarized while they were on vacation. However, “police later saw her wearing a diamond ring she reported stolen.”
Despite the legal troubles, Osefo recently broke her silence via Instagram, expressing gratitude for her supporters. “And through it all, GOD remains faithful. Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful,” she wrote.
What’s Coming on Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition
While Osefo’s episode was bumped, the series is moving forward with a stacked lineup of Housewives swapping lives with everyday moms—and the results promise to be equal parts eye-opening and outrageous.
Here’s the updated release schedule:

- “Too Cool for Gabagool” (Oct. 28, 9 p.m. ET/PT): The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga, the queen of Sunday sauce and family values, switches places with vegan, free-spirited Michelle Clark.
- “Daddy Duties vs. Daddy Don’ts” (Nov. 4, 9 p.m. ET/PT): Real Housewives of Orange County’s Emily Simpson swaps roles with Caley Svensson, whose family dynamic is anything but traditional. Can Emily survive in a hands-off parenting household?
- “All Is Ferret in Love and War” (Nov. 9, 9 p.m. ET/PT): Dr. Wendy Osefo meets her match in rule-free Alethea Shapiro. Ferrets included.
