Teresa Giudice is done looking back.
In a revealing new interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is opening up about her fractured relationship with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga — and she’s making it clear she’s ready to move forward.
“Time heals always — because then you forget. Like, you’re angry when it first happens,” Teresa said while promoting her grueling appearance on Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, where she competed alongside her daughter, Gia Giudice.
Her words mark a clear shift from the long-standing family tensions that have played out publicly for over a decade. The final straw, for many fans, was when Joe and Melissa chose not to attend Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022 — a moment that deeply hurt, but didn’t break her.
“I’m married three years. So it’s been three years. He didn’t come to my wedding, so we haven’t spoken in three years,” she said bluntly. That silence has remained, but Teresa isn’t dwelling on it.
Instead, she’s focused on moving forward with a sense of clarity that only time and experience can bring.
“You can’t talk about the past. Like, you really can’t because if you talk about the past you’re never going to really get anywhere,” she explained. “I would say just to move on because I think that you’ll never get anywhere speaking about the past.”
It’s a mature, grounded perspective from someone who’s been through some of the most emotionally raw moments reality TV has ever captured. Rather than engaging in another cycle of conflict, Teresa is choosing peace — for herself, her family, and her future.
As she continues her journey both on and off-screen, one thing is clear: Teresa Giudice isn’t looking for more drama — she’s looking ahead.
