Things got heated, and not in a good way, at the Real Housewives of Miami reunion, and now RHONJ’s Dolores Catania is weighing in with a strong take: Guerdy Abraira’s attitude during the reunion may have rubbed some people the wrong way, including Andy Cohen himself.
Appearing on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, Dolores reflected on how Guerdy responded to a tense apology from Julia Lemigova — and why it might have lasting consequences for Guerdy in the Bravo-verse.
Dolores and Tamra: Guerdy Got It Wrong
During the reunion, Julia tried to make amends with Guerdy, apologizing multiple times for her behavior during the season, including that now-infamous moment when she tossed water in Guerdy’s face. But despite the apologies, Guerdy didn’t seem ready to move forward.
That, according to Dolores, didn’t sit well with Andy.
“I think Andy’s sick of it,” she said bluntly on the podcast. “Andy’s like, ‘This is not getting better, and I’m going to say there’s no resolution here. Let’s move on.’ As soon as he said that, I said to myself, ‘Somebody’s in trouble next year.’”
Dolores also took issue with Guerdy’s version of events. At the reunion, Guerdy insisted her co-stars hadn’t defended her after the water toss, a moment she asked production to replay.
But Dolores disagreed with her interpretation of what happened.
“Obviously, she’s not remembering it correctly,” she said. “That may be the case here, where in her mind, that’s what she saw.”
Tamra chimed in, noting that the footage clearly showed what actually happened.
“The footage was proof,” added Dolores, supporting Tamra’s point.
Julia’s Apology — But Was It Enough?
Julia’s apology was sincere, according to both women, even if it lacked dramatic flair.
“Julia sincerely apologizes. She’s very monotone,” Tamra said. “She’s like, ‘I apologize, I apologize. I apologize.’”
But Guerdy’s reluctance to accept the apology or bring closure to the situation seemed to frustrate not just the cast, but Andy himself, who is known for pushing for resolution by the end of each reunion taping.
Fans Still Support Guerdy
Despite the criticism, many fans online have continued to back Guerdy. Throughout the season, social media lit up with support for her — especially after she went public with her breast cancer diagnosis and has since shared the news that she is now cancer-free.
But Dolores’s remarks raise a big question: could Guerdy’s reunion behavior — and her unwillingness to accept apologies — backfire next season?
What This Could Mean for Guerdy’s Future on RHOM
Dolores didn’t hold back in her prediction: Guerdy may face backlash or find herself on thinner ice with producers heading into next season.
Whether that means less support from Andy, changes in her storyline, or just tougher scrutiny from viewers and castmates remains to be seen.
But one thing’s for sure — in the Bravo world, when Dolores says someone’s “in trouble next year,” it’s not just idle talk. Stay tuned.
