Garcelle Beauvais Reveals the Breaking Point That Made Her Leave RHOBH

Garcelle Beauvais Explains Her Shocking Exit From ‘RHOBH’ Reunion: “They’re All F*ing Aholes”

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais is speaking candidly about her decision to leave the hit Bravo series, and the emotional weight that came with it.

In a recent interview with Variety, Beauvais reflected on her choice to step away from the franchise ahead of the Season 14 reunion, a decision that shocked fans but ultimately brought her peace.

“As great of an opportunity as it was to be on the ‘Housewives,’ it was also heavy on my spirit,” Beauvais shared. “Walking away has given me my power back. It’s given me a sense of freedom, and I’m in a good headspace. I want to create. I want to spend time with my family and friends. We live in a crazy world right now, and anywhere you can find joy and hold on to it for a bit is where we should all go. I am enjoying joy, peace and my life at this point.”

Her exit came to a head during the Season 14 reunion, when Beauvais made headlines for refusing to participate in the traditional cast photo at the end of the taping. While some fans saw the move as dramatic, Beauvais explained it as a deeply personal decision.

“There was a moment where I felt like I no longer belonged here,” she said. “I no longer fit in here. It was definitely a moment of like, ‘This is not for me.’ It just didn’t feel right.”

Though she once shared close bonds with fellow cast members like Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke, Beauvais admitted that those relationships have not remained intact. In fact, she revealed that she hasn’t spoken to Stracke since filming the reunion.

“There was a moment where I felt like I no longer belonged here,” she repeated. “It just didn’t feel right.”

Following her departure, Beauvais also unfollowed several of her former castmates on social media — a quiet but telling move that underscored just how strained those relationships had become.

As for whether fans might see her back on RHOBH in the future, Beauvais isn’t completely closing the door — but she’s not rushing back either.

“Not anytime soon,” she said, when asked about a potential return.

For now, she’s focusing on what brings her joy — and leaving behind what no longer serves her.

God taps you on the shoulder, once, twice, ten times. Finally He smacks you in the face to wake you up. Walking away from petty, angry, drama queen narcissistic people is one of the most liberating things you can do for yourself. When you do it to one, the rest come easy. All that time wasted on people who care only about themselves - like Sutton.

I never bought the G & S friendship, not for one minute. Not just picking on them; for some reason very few of these HW's (across the board) seem to be able to sustain real friendships, which I think is testament to the fact that this is all scripted BS (with a little of their real lives thrown in). There's a reason they all have SAG cards.

I never thought she fit in . She had many opportunities to show a likable, relatable side and she failed everytime except - when she filmed with her sons , I did like that side of her . Also I think a few times without Sutton - I didn’t mind her . She came in with an agenda it seemed like and she kept trying w/ that vibe and that was a no go for me .

Why did she even join in the first place? If she had watched only a few of the older episodes she would have learned all she needed to know about these women and how they act among each other. Any honest self-evaluation would have told her she would not and did not fit in from the get go. (Although I have to admit I enjoyed the drama of her walking away from right before the season-ending toast and picture. I thought that was well-done!)

She never fit in ... not from day one (which was her choice). Instead of being an ungrateful bitch, she should be thankful that the show gave her a check, a new subdivision track home, a cute Airbnb, and some temporary relevancy.

That chip is still firmly placed on her shoulder then. Why is she always so friggin negative and passive? Drainer.

I like Garcelle for the most part. I think she just got sick of the BS and let's face it, Boz being the voice of reason drove Garcelle over the edge.

I suspect Bozo making her a black "second stringer" is what drove G over the edge.

I suspect Bozo being the new shiny black toy is what drove G over the edge. Now having said that, I'd take G over B any day, because at least G had her likeable/endearing moments.

So far I like B - except the baby thing!
