As The Real Housewives of Orange County season unfolds, Jenn Pedranti is preparing for a major life event: her upcoming wedding to Ryan Boyajian. But while most brides are preoccupied with venue décor and dress fittings, Jenn’s dealing with something a bit more Bravo-specific, unsolicited commentary from her castmates.
On a recent episode of Bravo’s RHOC: After Show, Jenn addressed the lingering drama with Tamra Judge, who’s made it abundantly clear that she has no interest in attending Jenn’s wedding. According to Jenn, Tamra has repeatedly said she wouldn’t show up, and didn’t stop there.
“From what I hear, Tamra wouldn’t even be at the wedding,” Jenn said with a mix of sarcasm and grace. “She loves to say how she wouldn’t even come, and then to call it tacky. She’s like, ‘Do you think I want to be at that wedding and it’s tacky.’” Jenn added with a dry smile, “It’s like it’s beneath her or something.”
Rather than get caught up in the negativity, Jenn leaned into the chaos with humor, teasing that she might as well follow through on her idea to wear a bikini to the ceremony. “I’m sick of fighting this whole thing. Now I might as well just do it,” she joked, a lighthearted response that felt more confident than combative.
While Tamra seems eager to distance herself from Jenn’s nuptials, other cast members took a more nuanced approach. Heather Dubrow acknowledged she didn’t expect an invitation and assumed the event was “just family,” while Shannon Beador speculated that she might make the list if it expands beyond close relatives. Still, it’s clear the guest list is less about housewives politics and more about creating a meaningful, peaceful experience, something Jenn has worked hard to build.
Speaking of Ryan, Jenn’s friend Gretchen Rossi, a longtime Bravo alum, praised Ryan’s approach on being there for Jenn’s children, calling it “a testament to who Ryan is.” She added, “He’s not forcing anything. He’s just organically allowing it to happen. He jumps in and helps with everything.”
It’s a sentiment Jenn clearly appreciates. “That’s why I get so angry when people talk sh*t about us,” Gretchen said, voicing the frustration many fans share. Jenn responded honestly: “They don’t know. That’s why I was grateful you reached out to me. It’s horrible trying to navigate all this.”
At the end of the day, Jenn isn’t here to convince anyone of her choices, especially those who’ve made up their minds before stepping into her shoes. Instead, she’s focused on building something real, loving, and lasting, even if it doesn’t meet everyone’s standards of “class.”
And as for who shows up on the big day? Let’s just say Jenn’s wedding may be missing one or two familiar faces, and it might be better that way.
