Andy Cohen Clears the Air on That Viral Jen Shah Clip: “Sometimes I Just Say Way Too Much” Jen’s Team Responds

Andy Cohen Backtracks; Clarifies that Real Housewives of Rhode Island Won’t Outshine RHONJ

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Andy Cohen over the years, it’s that he doesn’t hold back, for better or worse. The Bravo mastermind and Watch What Happens Live host found himself back in the headlines recently after a clip resurfaced where he bluntly declared he “never” wanted to see Jen Shah again on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But according to Andy? Everyone’s missing the context.

In a recent episode of his SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen Live, he set the record straight about the now-viral moment.

“That video leaked from my Q&A the other day, that Jen Shah video,” he explained. The clip, which was secretly recorded during one of his pre-show audience Q&As for Watch What Happens Live, showed him responding to a fan’s question about Jen’s possible return to RHOSLC. “Someone asked, ‘Will we be seeing Jen Shah on Salt Lake City?’” Andy recalled. “I don’t even know when it was from. It looked like it was a year old or something like that.”

What many people didn’t realize is that these pre-show Q&A moments are supposed to be off-the-record. “They’re not supposed to be videoing,” Andy pointed out. “And sometimes I just say way too much.”

In other words, he was speaking candidly, and perhaps too casually, in what he thought was a private setting. But when you’re Andy Cohen, there’s no such thing as “off the record.”

“I get really mouthy sometimes during those Q&As,” he admitted. “And you know what? There’s no putting the words back.”

The resurfaced clip spread quickly across social media, with fans speculating whether Bravo had truly cut ties with Jen Shah for good. Jen, currently serving time at Bryan Federal Prison Camp following her fraud conviction, didn’t remain silent either — or at least, her team didn’t.

In a statement posted to her Instagram account, her “management” confirmed that things between Jen and Bravo were still on decent terms. “A respectful conversation has already been had with Bravo behind the scenes, and there are no hard feelings,” they shared.

So, is this the final chapter in the saga of Jen Shah and RHOSLC? That remains unclear.

WWHL is a show I just can't get into. It's boring as hell. Anyway, I think Shah is coming back.

And so the plot thickens…? I figured Andy was talking out of his azz (like that takes much figuring ?). Bravo AND Andy love them a felon, so whatever had temporarily bunched Andy’s panties re: Jenn has not prevented the unbunching we see happening before us that will likely pave the way for Jenn’s return.?
