RHOC’s Jennifer Pedranti Granted Sole Physical Custody After Explosive Court Dispute With Ex

Jennifer Pedranti’s Income Soars as She Fights for Fairness in Divorce Battle

Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti just scored a major legal victory in her ongoing divorce battle with ex-husband William Pedranti, and fans are here for it.

RHOC’s Jennifer Pedranti Granted Sole Physical Custody After Explosive Court Dispute With Ex 3

In a newly filed court agreement on September 3, Jennifer, 48, was awarded sole physical custody of her three minor children: Greyson (15), Everleigh (13), and Dominic (11). William will now only have visitation rights and must provide a one-hour notice before seeing the kids, according to Us Weekly.

The former couple, who also share two adult sons, Dawson (18) and Harrison (21) — had originally agreed to share joint legal and physical custody. But the court’s latest decision makes one thing clear: Jennifer is the kids’ primary caregiver moving forward.

This news comes just months after their July 2024 divorce settlement, in which William agreed to pay Jennifer $4,674 per month in child support, $1,735 in spousal support, and a one-time lump sum of $267,811. He also allowed Jennifer to retain full ownership of her yoga business.

However, things took a turn when William returned to court trying to reduce his financial obligations. He argued that Jennifer’s current living situation with fiancé Ryan Boyajian meant she didn’t need financial support. “Jennifer lives with Ryan, and I believe has little to no living expenses (rent, utilities, car payment etc.) due to this living arrangement,” he claimed.

Pedranti wasn’t having it.

“I believe it is unfair to terminate spousal support because I am cohabitating with Ryan,” she stated in her declaration. “The ONLY reason I am cohabitating with Ryan is because William left me with no other option.”

She also accused William of failing to follow through with the six-figure payment he agreed to, saying, “If I had received [the money] … I would have had the ability to pay my lease, and I would not have been evicted. Or, I would have had the means to secure my own place without Ryan.”

On top of that, William accused Jennifer of harassment, alleging she showed up uninvited at his home and messaged him outside of the court-approved parenting app. Jennifer denied this, saying she was simply trying to talk to him about their children.

While no decision has yet been made on modifying spousal support, the custody ruling sends a clear message: Jennifer is doing what’s best for her family, and the court recognizes that.

This win isn’t just legal — it’s personal. After months of battling it out behind closed doors, Jennifer Pedranti is standing tall, putting her kids first, and showing RHOC fans what real strength looks like.

I would think that the minute she moved in with Ryan, the spousal $upport would have become null and void, but William's failure to pay the $200K+ lump sum undoubtedly blew that. You know Jen's quickie wedding in the Bahamas can't get here soon enough for William.

IMO... who she dates or lives with or marries should have absolutely no impact on her spousal support.

Obviously you can't just leave someone high and dry when you split, but former spouses don't get to just automatically continue enjoying the benefit$ of marriage after they divorce either. Judges typically award spousal support when one spouse is financially dependent on the other and lacks the resources to provide for their own, and also, the duration/length of their marriage matter too. These might have applied to Jenn when they first separated, but Jenn becoming a TV star, and partner in their (apparently thriving) yoga business is a game changer. Also, the spouse's (alleged) inability to pay is obviously considered as well. Finally, the reason for a divorce is a huge factor, and in this case Jenn left William (after allegedly cheating).

It's always about money, isn't it? Never about the welfare of the children.
