Porsha Williams’ divorce from Simon Guobadia is taking a heated legal turn, as her alleged multimillion-dollar income becomes a major point of contention in her ex-husband’s appeal.
According to Us Weekly, Guobadia revealed in court documents filed in July that Porsha allegedly earned “approximately $8,000,000 to $9,000,000” in 2024. The figure was included as part of his effort to overturn the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement.
Guobadia tied the income to Porsha’s professional resurgence, citing “the overall scripted talent deal Williams signed with NBCUniversal.” He claimed that the financial terms of their prenup were based on a different reality—one where Williams was no longer appearing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta or Dish Nation.
“The terms of the Prenuptial Agreement evidence Husband’s intent to compensate his Wife, in the event of a divorce, for not earning the income that she was earning when she was employed with RHOA and Dish Nation prior to marrying him,” the documents state.
Guobadia claimed the prenup was negotiated in November 2022, at which time Williams was not actively working with either show. He argued that her undisclosed plans to return to RHOA were a “material fact that should have been disclosed” because it “would have changed the terms he agreed to.”
Beyond the income dispute, Guobadia also accused Williams of violating the confidentiality clause in their prenup. According to him, she breached the agreement “when she spoke about him and his finances on RHOA and press interviews.”
Williams, 44, has pushed back against Guobadia’s appeal and continues to support the original terms of the prenuptial agreement. A judge has not yet ruled on the matter.
As the case develops, the revelation of Williams’ alleged $9 million earnings in 2024 adds a high-stakes twist to an already headline-grabbing breakup.
