Lisa Barlow is no stranger to stirring the pot, but in the newly dropped trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6, the drama hits even closer to home.
The trailer opens with Lisa revealing potential cracks in her seemingly rock-solid marriage to husband John Barlow. “We’ve been on different pages,” she admits, before breaking down during a psychic reading that clearly hits a nerve. When the psychic gently asks, “Why do you feel like you’re just rebuilding trust?” Lisa responds through tears, “I don’t know.”
Tensions among the cast — including returning Housewives Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, Mary Cosby, and Bronwyn Bateman (formerly known as Britani) — are at an all-time high. The season, which premieres Wednesday, Sept. 16, teases confrontations, confessions, and chaos against stunning backdrops, including a cast trip to Greece, where a bishop ominously declares: “Truth is the only scandal.”
But Lisa’s emotional vulnerability may be just the beginning. Bronwyn, who had a rocky relationship with Lisa last season, stirs the pot by bringing up past financial rumors. She suggests Lisa didn’t want John to find out she had “borrowed” money from “the mystery man” Angie had previously mentioned.
Bronwyn also finds herself in emotional turmoil, breaking down in front of husband Todd Bradley. “You know how I feel about when people misunderstand me,” she says tearfully. “I shouldn’t have to feel misunderstood with you, too.”
As if that weren’t enough, Bronwyn’s insecurities deepen with fears of infidelity. “What if I’m wrong and I’m gonna look like a fool and he humiliates me?” she wonders aloud, following whispers of a potential mistress.
The trailer doesn’t stop there. Long-standing friendships start to fray, and allegations of bankruptcy, shoplifting, and betrayal send shockwaves through the group. Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby — who once seemed close — face an unexpected falling out. Angie pleads to remain “sisters,” but Mary shuts her down with a cold, “Find another one.”
Meredith Marks, never one to hold back, offers her own bit of sharp wisdom: “When somebody shows you who they are, you deal with them accordingly.”
The season’s drama peaks when Bronwyn and Lisa finally come to verbal blows. Lisa throws shade, telling Bronwyn, “You should really go to school,” to which Bronwyn savagely retorts: “Go to work to pay off those f—— lawsuits,” referencing the real-life legal troubles facing Lisa’s companies, Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing. Lisa fires back with a blunt “F— you,” and appears to call Bronwyn a “d— sucker” in the heat of the moment.
If the trailer is any indication, Season 6 of RHOSLC will be the most explosive yet. From marital breakdowns to financial scandals, the women are bringing raw emotion and ruthless confrontations to the table — and no one is safe.
