Since her dramatic exit from Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent has been trying to find her next big reality TV home. After stepping away from the iconic Bravo series that made her a household name, Lala dipped her toes into The Valley, a newer reality show that’s had mixed reviews from fans.
While some viewers loved seeing her fresh side, others felt she didn’t quite fit in, sparking debate about whether Lala was really necessary on the show.
But now, Lala has her sights set on another Bravo hit: Southern Charm. Speaking candidly on her Amazon Live stream, Lala revealed why she feels drawn to the Southern-based series. “I think I would want to be on Southern Charm because it’s the closest thing to Vanderpump Rules,” she explained. “I just like the dynamics. It feels very real and honest and easy. These people are hanging out whether there’s a camera up or not. That would be my go-to.”
Even though she admits she doesn’t have a deep “connection to Charleston,” Lala gushed about how much she likes the cast. “I love all of the cast. They’re so nice,” she said warmly.
She also teased a particularly interesting conversation she had with two of the show’s main players, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. “I had really good conversations with Craig and Austen this year at one of the upfront shoots, I’m not gonna tell you what that conversation was like, but maybe if they touch on it on their show, then I can tell you my conversation with Austen. It was very interesting,” she hinted.
Lala’s already been staying in touch with some Southern Charm stars behind the scenes. “Craig and I will go back and forth on DMs. Austen and I will go back and forth on DMs. I love Madison. She and I will do the same type of thing,” she shared. “Any time I see them at BravoCon, it’s so happy and fun. So those are the three I talk to the most, which is not frequently, but I consider them friends.”
