The drama between Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton is hitting new levels of messy — and it’s unfolding in full force following Part 2 of the Season 16 reunion. What was once a sister-like bond is now unraveling fast, with both women slinging receipts and accusations across social media.
At the reunion, Porsha took aim at Shamea, accusing her of deception and betrayal, citing lies she believed Shamea told. The morning after the episode aired, Porsha took to Instagram, determined to “clear the air” with what she called “unseen receipts.”
In the first post, Porsha addressed Shamea’s claim that she only had one wedding — the ceremony in Kenya. Porsha disagreed, sharing a photo of the two together during what she says was a separate stateside celebration.
“Lie #1,” Porsha captioned the image, “Queen Shamea Mwangi had her first wedding in Atlanta — I was there as a bridesmaid. Her second wedding was in Africa. Yet she went on The Breakfast Club and said, ‘I only had one wedding.’ Clearly, that’s not the case.”
Porsha didn’t stop there.
“Lie #2,” she continued in a follow-up slide, “I sent Shamea flowers to congratulate her for becoming a full-time Housewife. She even made a video thanking me, and I called her with excitement. I also made a four-slide Instagram post celebrating her peach. But then she goes and tells Kandi that all I said was a quick ‘congrats’ on the phone?”
Porsha ended her post with a sharp note: “Case closed. And just FYI — the card with the flowers didn’t mention anything about her birthday. It literally says ‘Love & Congratulations Queen’ with a peach emoji.”
Shamea’s Response: “Fake Friendship, Fake Receipts”
Shamea wasn’t having it. Though her response has since been deleted, fans quickly caught screenshots. She disputed Porsha’s narrative and made it clear she felt blindsided.
“First of all, I had one wedding — in Nairobi, Kenya,” she began. “What you attended in Atlanta was my dowry ceremony, which we held in my mom’s backyard. It’s part of the tradition, not a separate wedding.”
Shamea also clarified the timing around the flowers, writing, “You sent those during my birthday week, right before filming began. I’d already had my peach for over a month by then. I never said you didn’t congratulate me — I said we never actually celebrated.”
And she didn’t mince words when it came to Porsha’s intentions: “Keep your fake receipts and your fake-ass friendship. You’ve been looking for a reason to walk away ever since I got my peach.”
In a final jab, Shamea called out the contradiction in their feud: “I rode hard for you. People called me your lapdog. And now you’re saying I was scheming against you? Make it make sense. You’re unbelievable.”
More Than Flowers and Ceremonies
This feud clearly runs deeper than what was said at the reunion or what gifts were given. Behind the scenes, a once-close friendship has deteriorated into public mudslinging, deleted posts, and emotional fallout — all unfolding in real-time on social media.
Whether fans side with Porsha or Shamea, one thing is clear: the sisterhood is broken, and those “receipts” aren’t bringing anyone closer.
