Kyle Richards might not be facing the drama of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 alone. According to a new report, the longtime Bravo star is set to be joined by one of her closest and oldest friends and the connection goes far beyond reality TV.
Insiders told The Sun that Christine Blackman, Kyle’s best friend since their teenage years, has started filming with the cast. Christine is married to high-profile film and TV director Steve Blackman, and the couple is regularly seen in Kyle’s social circle. Whether it’s relaxing at home or jetting off on vacation, the two women have shared decades of friendship that fans may soon see play out on screen.
“Producers haven’t decided yet if she will be full-time or a friend of, they’re playing it by ear based on how filming goes,” the source explained. “But so far, so good. She’s a great addition and Kyle is so happy to have a confidant by her side.”
If Christine does end up securing a spot on the show, she’ll be joining a cast that includes returning Housewives Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John. There’s also buzz around another big addition: fashion mogul Rachel Zoe, who reportedly signed on for Season 15 after her successful Bravo run in the 2010s with The Rachel Zoe Project.
Christine may not be the only one from Kyle’s inner circle joining the cast. Amanda Frances, another lifelong friend of Kyle’s, was recently spotted with the RHOBH women during filming in Sedona, Arizona. Observers claimed Amanda was right next to Kyle as the group prepared to board the city’s famous Pink Jeep tour, hinting at a possible on-screen debut.
Though Bravo has yet to confirm the full cast lineup, these behind-the-scenes developments are already fueling fan speculation. Kyle and Christine have appeared in dozens of photos together over the years, with everything from recent snaps to throwbacks from their twenties. The real-life history between them could bring a level of authenticity and emotional depth to the show that viewers haven’t seen in a while.
Until Bravo makes it official, it remains to be seen whether Christine Blackman will hold a diamond — but all signs point to Kyle having more personal support than ever heading into the new season.
