After four seasons of sharing her voice off-camera, Melissa Gorga is officially stepping away from her podcast. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star announced the decision on Instagram, thanking fans and pointing to a growing list of responsibilities, and sprinkle cookies, as the reason for the pivot.
“As we wrap up this latest season, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of you,” Melissa wrote.
“Your support over the past four seasons has meant the world to me. Each episode, every comment, and all your feedback have fueled my passion and made this journey truly unforgettable.
However, I need to share some news with you. After much reflection, I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from the podcast. I’ve recently embarked on an exciting new venture with @letssprinklebymg and it’s demanding my full attention, amongst other things that are coming:) Balancing both has become a challenge & let’s not forget about 2 locations of @envybymg & online store:) 3 kids and a Joe! and I believe that focusing on this new path will allow me to grow and innovate in ways I’ve always dreamed of.
I want to assure you that this decision wasn’t easy. I will cherish the memories we’ve created together, and I am so proud of the community we’ve built. Thank you for being a part of my journey, for your understanding, and for the endless encouragement you’ve shown me.
Though I may be stepping away from the mic, I will carry all of your support with me as I dive into this new adventure. I hope to return someday, but until then, keep shining and spreading joy, just like the sprinkle cookies I’ll be baking!

While Melissa cited her expanding business empire as the main reason for stepping away, the timing does raise some eyebrows. With The Real Housewives of New Jersey on an extended “pause” and no new episodes to recap, a key part of her podcast’s appeal, fresh content may have become harder to come by.
Fans of the show will remember that her episodes often aligned with RHONJ airtime, offering reactions and commentary that fueled engagement. But with Bravo in no rush to restart production, it seems the mic might’ve gotten a little quieter than expected.
Still, Melissa appears to be keeping herself plenty busy, whether it’s with boutique openings, social media ventures, or a bakery-themed brand expansion. The sprinkle cookies may be sweet, but the timing of this podcast farewell is definitely… seasoned.
