In a dramatic legal showdown that spanned nearly 10 hours, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams walked away victorious—and with a lot more than just peace of mind.
“She won,” a host declared on The Breakfast Club. “A judge ruled to enforce her prenup with her ex, Simon Guobadia. That is a huge deal.”
According to court details revealed by a source close to the proceedings, Guobadia has been ordered to pay Porsha $40,000 in monthly alimony for the next 14 to 15 months. On top of that, she retains ownership of the luxury Rolls-Royce he gifted her during their short-lived marriage.
The court also ruled in Porsha’s favor regarding legal costs—Guobadia will cover all of her attorney fees.
The couple’s $7 million marital home remains a shared asset—for now. While Simon retains 50% equity due to it being his premarital property, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether she wants to refinance and buy him out. In the meantime, he’s on the hook for mortgage payments and related expenses.
“Simon walked away pissed,” the insider revealed, noting that there were no direct interactions between the former couple throughout the marathon Zoom hearing on June 11. The session ran from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
And it may not be over just yet. “Simon is exploring the options of an appeal,” the host added. “He has 30 days to file with the court.”
This divorce saga comes amid Simon’s reported deportation back to Nigeria, casting even more intrigue over the legal dispute. With RHOA season 16 airing Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo, fans are likely to get a front-row seat to the fallout.
