The drama off-screen is beginning to rival the plotlines on Bravo. PK Kemsley has officially responded to estranged wife Dorit Kemsley’s divorce filing—and he’s pushing back hard on her custody demands.
In court documents filed Friday and obtained exclusively by TMZ, PK requested joint custody of their two children, Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9. This stands in direct contrast to Dorit’s original filing, in which she asked for sole custody. PK made it clear he’s not stepping aside easily, asserting his desire to remain an equal co-parent.
He’s also taking a firm stance on finances. According to the filing, PK waived his right to spousal support and requested the court deny Dorit’s bid for it as well. Furthermore, he proposed that “each party pay their own attorneys’ fees and legal costs,” indicating an effort to keep the legal battle financially balanced.
Both parties cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split—a phrase as common in Hollywood divorce filings as red carpets and paparazzi. But the lack of a prenuptial agreement, as previously reported by TMZ, could make the division of assets far more complicated.
The split comes shortly after PK, 57, was seen in a steamy public kiss with Amazing Race alum Shana Wall, an incident that quickly made headlines and may have accelerated the unraveling of the marriage.
Dorit, 48, filed for divorce on April 25, 2025, and the couple—who wed in March 2015—publicly confirmed their separation the following month. In a joint Instagram statement, they wrote, “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage.”
As the custody battle heats up, one thing is clear: this Real Housewives breakup is shaping up to be anything but amicable.
