In the glittery world of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, headlines and heartbreak often go hand in hand—but that doesn’t make the pain any less real. Fans woke up to emotional news this week as Dorit Kemsley filed for divorce from her husband of ten years, Paul “PK” Kemsley. And while the public processed the split, Dorit’s castmate Erika Jayne was doing the same—in real time.
“I literally just found out online like everyone else, maybe an hour ago,” Erika told Us Weekly on April 25, while attending the opening of The Tryst in Puerto Vallarta. “Obviously, I reached out to her. She’s got more important things to do than to talk to me right now.”
Dorit officially filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” requesting sole legal and physical custody of their two children—Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9—along with spousal support. The filing follows a rocky period for the couple, who had separated earlier in 2024, and comes shortly after PK was spotted making out with another woman in public.
Erika and Dorit had grown even closer during the most recent season of RHOBH, forming a deeper bond both on and off camera. Erika’s support now reflects that strengthened friendship. “It’s a sad thing,” she said. “How does anybody feel when they hear that a family’s broken up? You feel badly.”
Though the cameras aren’t rolling, real life continues—and this time, it’s Dorit’s reality that’s taking center stage.
