Miami’s most dramatic divorce saga seems to be winding down, as Dr. Lenny Hochstein—better known in pop culture as the “Boob God”—and Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein have officially dropped a defamation lawsuit and released a joint statement to squash rumors of physical abuse.
The legal tension escalated in late 2023, when Lenny filed a defamation suit against Lisa after she publicly suggested he had physically harmed her. The accusation came not long after Lenny withdrew a divorce settlement offer in August 2023. At the time, Lisa Hochstein shared a photo of a bruise on her arm, sparking concern and speculation online.
But Lenny was quick to deny any wrongdoing, claiming Lisa got the bruise when she fell on the staircase during an argument.
“This was almost 2 weeks old from last season. You may have caught this bruise on the episode when I opened up to the women on the show about the divorce,” Lisa wrote in response to critics.
Indeed, Real Housewives of Miami footage backed up her timeline, showing what appeared to be the same bruise during filming.
In his lawsuit, Lenny didn’t just deny abuse—he came out swinging. He claimed Lisa was having an affair with her now-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, and labeled her the “real ‘homewrecker’ of Miami.” Lisa, for her part, clarified that she and Jody didn’t begin dating until February 2023, months after Lenny had filed for divorce.
The couple’s relationship had been unraveling for a while. Married since 2009, they separated in May 2022, and Lenny officially filed for divorce in October of that year. In earlier court documents, Lenny accused Lisa of pushing and verbally berating him at their $10 million Star Island mansion.
Now, after a highly public and emotional breakup, the pair is ready to move on—for good. In a rare moment of unity, they issued a joint statement to Daily Mail, saying:
“We acknowledge that the end of our marriage was a painful and highly public experience. Images posted on social media at the time led to speculation and insinuations by the media that do not reflect what occurred.”
They continued: “We can jointly confirm that there was never any physical harm caused by Dr. Leonard Hochstein or Lisa Hochstein, and the media’s insinuations from any photos or posts are not true. We are both excited to close this chapter, and move on and be great co-parents for our kids.”
With the lawsuit dismissed and both parties agreeing to cover their own legal fees, Lenny can now refocus on his personal and professional life. Just a month after finalizing the divorce in November 2024, he popped the question—again—to Austrian model Katharina Mazepa, who he’s reportedly been dating since 2022.
From reality TV to real-life courtroom drama, this saga had it all—but with both sides looking forward, maybe now Miami can take a breath. And Dr. Hochstein? He can get back to doing what he thinks he does best—being, in his words, “the top plastic surgeon in the country.”
