In a heartfelt conversation on the Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast on April 1, Vanderpump discussed the turbulent end of her friendship with Richards, which occurred during the 9th season of RHOBH in 2019. Despite their fallout, Vanderpump admitted that she misses the unique connection they once had.

“I don’t need that person in my life at all,” Vanderpump said, reflecting on the fractured relationship. “But I miss what we had because I think we had this unique friendship. And that’s what I enjoyed.” She went on to reminisce about the special moments they shared, including the late-night phone calls and the joy they found in each other’s company.

“I loved the kind of late night phone calls and how we would giggle and laugh together, and how I was always there for her because she had a very tumultuous relationship with her sisters [Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton] as we’ve seen,” Vanderpump shared. “I was always a sounding board for her, an advocate of them, kind of always trying to keep that relationship on solid ground.”

Vanderpump also fondly recalled some of the more playful memories of their friendship, including some of their cheeky adventures while filming RHOBH.

“Kyle and I could laugh together climbing over walls, breaking in people’s hotel rooms, you know, while the cast or the cast members and getting stuck in the wall — my butt getting stuck in the wall or pushing her down the hall on the hotel trolley,” Vanderpump laughed. “I mean, we had a lot of fun.”

Loved it when LVP and Kyle were close and having fun. Kyle was too dumb to realise what a true friend she had though. True friends don't always agree with you, and will try to warn you of things in your life. LVP did that by advocating for Kyle's sisters when she had to, to try to give Kyle more balance. She also subtly tried to warn Kyle of Mo's infidelities, often using humour. Kyle wasn't ready to hear it, and instead turned on her. If Kyle wasn't so self-absorbed she would see it all in retrospect.

MISREPRESENTATION of this article. After the way Kyle stabbed her, GOODBYE KYLE is all she will ever get. I am that way, having a "friend" like Kyle, once the curtain opens, I call them Non-Entities.

Narcissistic vile woman needs attention again. I thought we may have finally rid ourselves of this horrible hound and her hideous hobbit husband.

The woman with multiple spin off shows with her name on them and even a casino on the Las Vegas strip named after her is the one lacking attention?

Why ? Everytime there are reunions without her ass even years later , is she beating this dead horse ? Goodbye Pump

I can’t help but wonder if this is true or since VPRules is on a hiatus that she needs to keep her name in the public eye. I do believe everyone deserves a second chance but is it too little too late?

I find it odd that LVP is speaking about it but there's no denying that they did have fun moments in the early seasons. LVP clearly felt more affection for Kyle than Kyle had for LVP.

I think it was more so because they knew the games each other could play so it was a whole “ who is gonna move first on the chess board”… obviously Kyle did . She learned from her ex friend - master of chess .

I loved their genuine friendship. It was one of the best things about BH. However, when things started going southLVP always acted like she was innocent in all transactions. As they say “ it takes 2 to tango.” It’s not all Kyle’s fault.

Thank you . I just said everytime there’s a reunion here she comes.. she didn’t even show up for her last one , so let’s not play this game . Again.

Pfft… The Dragon Lady getting high off her own dragon farts again, I see. B*tch please! ?? If LVP’s dubious attempts to stabilize that cluster f*ck of sisterly turbulence were anything short of an abject failure we’d see even the slightest inkling of a change in her relative absence but NOPE. So, sitcha azz down, Dragon Lady. ? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/923821d779a45413d2983728dd1c88b8bb8ca4fd772a48170cc816608cb1e516.gif

TY, I ain't buying it either. Had Lisa experienced a temporary nutty coo coo change in personality via some sort of life changing event (aka Teddi), I could overlook her deplorable behavior (no the loss of loved ones doesn't count). But that wasn't the case. LVP went from six seasons of light and fun (albeit slightly bitchy) character to a not-so-fun calculating, passive/aggressive, and lying bully ... and not just on RHOBH. I can still take her on small doses, but can't even imagine her sharing the spotlight with other women ever again. To coin a very overused "reality tv" term, she's just not a girl's girl.

You were close and did have fun together which is why it was so diabolical when Kyle stabbed you in the back...and she will do it again in a heartbeat if you let her. ?

I dunno Z, I'm not sure refusing to turn a blind eye or being manipulated into lying qualifies as "stabbing one in the back". There are limits to being a loyal friend.
