After a heated back-and-forth with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates during Part 1 of the Season 14 reunion, Garcelle Beauvais was clearly over it.
As the reunion taping wrapped, Garcelle’s frustration was palpable. A hot mic moment caught her venting to her glam squad on the way to her dressing room, revealing just how overwhelmed she felt. “Can I go home?” she asked, adding, “I thought Sutton [Stracke] was gonna be in the hot seat. I didn’t realize I was gonna be in the hot seat. Jesus Christ.”
But Garcelle wasn’t holding back. She went on to express how suffocated she felt, saying, “I can’t have an opinion. I can’t say how I feel. I just have to go along just to go along. Everybody can go f–k themselves. I don’t care.”
Soon after, Sutton Stracke stopped by to check on her friend. When Garcelle opened up about her emotions, she made it clear that she felt stuck in a no-win situation. “Not great,” she admitted. “I’m damned if I do, I’m damned if I don’t. I can say how I feel, I can’t say how I feel. I have to tiptoe around everybody. I’m not doin’ it. I’m not doin’ it.”
When Garcelle said, “I’m the bad guy here,” Sutton quickly jumped in to offer support, saying, “Oh no, I think we are.”
But things took an even more intense turn when Erika Jayne aimed a low blow at Garcelle Beauvais. Erika criticized her for not sharing more personal details on RHOBH, including who she’s dating. “I wish you were more interesting, I guess,” Erika remarked, sending shockwaves through the reunion set.
Garcelle didn’t hold back in her response, shooting back, “Well, that’s a s–tty thing to say, Erika. I thought we were in a better place.”
Though Erika tried to brush it off, insisting, “We are [in a better place],” Garcelle wasn’t buying it. “No, we’re not, if you say something like that,” she retorted.
During a break, Garcelle Beauvais reflected on Erika’s jab, letting her frustration boil over in a candid conversation with Sutton. “What, because I’m not going through a divorce? Because I’m not… like I didn’t have, you know, criminal activity? That I work, that I’m self-made, that I don’t have a rich husband? I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth? That’s not interesting?”
Garcelle’s frustration was clear: Erika’s comment seemed to imply that Garcelle wasn’t entertaining enough because she didn’t have the dramatic personal struggles that have defined some of her castmates’ storylines. But Garcelle wasn’t about to let that slide, calling out the assumption that only chaos and controversy make someone “interesting.”
In the heat of the reunion, Garcelle was clearly fighting to assert her voice and defend her worth beyond the spectacle that RHOBH often thrives on.
