Erika Jayne Reveals Garcelle Beauvais Quit Two Weeks Ago After Being Upset Over Reunion

In the world of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, nothing stays under wraps for long—and Garcelle Beauvais’ decision to leave the show was no exception. While fans were left wondering about Garcelle’s future on the show, Erika Jayne revealed that the cast had been aware of Garcelle’s plans for weeks leading up to the reunion taping. According to Erika Jayne, the news wasn’t a surprise to anyone in the RHOBH circle, and she confirmed that Garcelle had been vocal about her departure well in advance. “We knew this,” Erika said, offering a candid look at how the cast reacted to the exit of one of their key members.

“She was upset, and obviously, we’ve known that she’s quit for two weeks. We knew this,” Erika said. Her revelation came after Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen admitted he wasn’t aware of Garcelle’s decision to leave. Erika went on to explain that the absence of Garcelle in the cast photo was a significant indicator of her departure, asserting, “When she left the reunion, I wasn’t totally sure. She and I had a conversation here last week. But she did not take the cast photo with us. So that is a clear indication that I am leaving.”

As the conversation continued, Erika humorously referenced an inside joke she shares with fellow guest Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48. After a long pause and some awkward silence, Erika urged Boz to speak up, begging, “You say something!” before adding, “Won’t He do it,” seemingly suggesting that Garcelle’s exit was part of a higher plan.

Erika also addressed Garcelle’s comments from her March 18 WWHL appearance, particularly a remark she made about Erika’s dating life. Garcelle had quipped that Erika had “peaked” in her dating life years ago, prompting Erika to respond, “We both married ugly white guys that cheated on us, so you know, for love.”

Moving on to Sutton Stracke, Erika didn’t shy away from discussing her co-star’s behavior. When asked if Sutton truly believed she was above the rest of the cast, Erika admitted, “Listen, the things that she says indicate that she feels that she’s above us.” Despite this, Erika suggested there might be a possibility for a friendship between the two, provided Sutton’s behavior remains consistent. “As long as she is consistent, absolutely. We share the same culture. I understand a lot of things about where she came from. But as long as her behavior’s consistent, we have a chance at a real friendship,” Erika explained.

In a lighter moment, Erika made fun of her own impersonations of Sutton, noting that they both come from Georgia. “I hope they’re offensive, but it’s my dialect, too,” she quipped.

Erika also reflected on a comment she made about Garcelle, calling her “boring.” She clarified that she had never called Garcelle boring, but rather expressed that she wished Garcelle were “more interesting.” “Listen, in the world I live in, you gotta spit it plain,” Erika stated, defending her bluntness.

When asked about her own transparency on the show, Erika took a moment to remind fans about her struggles. “My own personal life? My husband went to jail, honey. I lost my home, my family, everything I own; I’m currently being sued. I was like in terrible, still am, terrible legal jeopardy. Haven’t I shared?” she asked, referencing the very public and difficult challenges she’s faced in recent years.

Finally, Erika reflected on her relationships with the women of RHOBH. She expressed a neutral stance when it came to supporting both Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, acknowledging their personal struggles. “I knew they were both going through very tough times, and I tried to remain as neutral as possible throughout the whole thing,” Erika explained. She went on to add that sometimes you have to step away when the drama gets too intense. “When it’s time to excuse yourself, it’s time to excuse yourself. You can’t stay in the middle for too long. They have to work it out.”

One of the more touching moments of the evening was when Erika gushed over her newfound friendship with Bozoma Saint John, highlighting how their bond has grown since their initial meeting. “We’ve become friends, and I really enjoy the fact that we’ve been able to [grow that],” Erika shared. “You can’t be friends with everybody right away, that’s an impossibility, so [we] have things to explore.”

As the reunion looms just around the corner, fans are sure to be in for more drama, revelations, and surprises—especially with Erika’s candid commentary and unapologetic attitude leading the charge.

In other news, Garcelle's new project is that she's been studying law and will be the prosecuting attorney in Erika's upcoming trial. :)

Erikunty should just STFU. She's a renter on a postage stamp in Koreatown. Cheap shots from a cheap ho that STILL OWES that stolen $25Million to real victims. And her Masked Singer Yorkie singing wasn't H-O-T, just G-0, dawg. Erikunty is living in DuLuluville while Karma keeps knocking her down and the common sense out of her.

It's about damn time someone called Garcon' out, and leave it to Kunty to be the one to do it. The other women HAD to know that Kunty putting ALL her stuff out there a few seasons ago was going to give her some serious power, but I'm probably giving them too much credit. As I've mentioned before; I can definitely relate, because coming out being dragged out of the closet was game changer for me. Little did I know that a certain power/freedom would come along with it. But aside from all that, you know there's something wrong when this sh is more interesting than the damn season ever was! Finally something to reunionize about.

Here’s another case of dish and can’t take . Garcelle like her bff Sutton have consistently poked, pricked , inserted, mouthpieced, and try to shade others and often it was unwarranted so I honestly see not a damn thing wrong with what Erika has said in re to garcelles comments over the years . If anyone was ganged up on for years it was Erika and she didn’t run away or quit or have a mouthpiece . I actually agreed with Erika about the peaked comment as we have seen ZERO of her personal life in 5 years in tv while she was busy bodying into others ‘

The smarter players are those who are in touch with the viewers, and for the last few seasons, that has been Kunty. She has kind of become the Bethenny of the show, meaning the observer who is keenly aware of how the ladies and the show is being rec'd by the audience.

Am I the only one who feels like Erika has not had a storyline or anything to add to the show for the past several seasons except her comments about her fellow employees
SU March 27, 2025 - 5:38 pm
Sorry Steve, I think you may be the only one. Erika's story carried the show for at least 3 seasons, and she was the only one keeping Garcelle and Sutton relevant for giving them something/someone to talk about.

Also, I think her agreeing to put it all out there probably guaranteed her a spot on the show for as long as SHE wants it ... I believe a privilege that only she and Kyle enjoy.

I'm still trying to figure out the reason they were so nasty about Garcelle. She and Erika were never close, and when a 'popular' housewife leaves, that just gives more attention to the other women (and let's face it - the more attention means potentially more money for the other cast and that's really all they care about). Is Garcelle a pot stirrer - yes, but not to the extent that Kyle, Dorit and Sutton are. She's pretty tame in comparison. Maybe Erika and Boz (and the others) were planning a take down for Garcelle next season and now they have to scramble to find something/someone else to harass). In a perfect world, getting rid of Erika and Sutton, would leave just Dorit, Kyle and Boz and then three newbies (I like Jennifer Tilly, but I think she works best as a 'friend of')

I’ll say two things that may not be popular but nonetheless true (as per usual ?): 1) Erika is pretty much (<— note that qualifier) SPOT ON about the lion’s share of what she said here. 2) Erika looks effin phenomenal and has managed to beat Ozempic face’s ASS like a boss. Now I’m not saying it didn’t cost her a pretty penny to do so, and I’m not saying she came across that penny through admirable means… https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a519deb48961c876ec44b6c6e42acb84c1c4e56957bbbc322a426022fce39687.gif

Like seriously, I had to scrutinize her face up REAL close and DAMN! ? Homegirl got her money’s worth…and uh, waitress: I’ll have what she’s having. ? She looks AMAZING, credit where credit is due. ?

I can totally see Kunty and Boz as being authentic friends; in fact, I'm not even calling her Bozo anymore. I would like to see them get rid of Sutton, but every franchise needs a good neurotic. Now all Andy needs to do is bring back Lisa Rinna or Camille or one of the other queens from his rolodex.
SU March 27, 2025 - 5:35 pm
Rinna a must and possibly Yolanda. As bats!t crazy as YH was, she was pretty entertaining.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 27, 2025 - 6:09 pm
Loved Yolanda!~ She was literally the perfect so called "Real Housewife". RHOBH's best years by far.

I suspect that production got their grubby little fingers on Boz and kind of tarnished her first season. Don’t get me wrong, her racist tendencies (yeah, I said it) and know it all attitude rubs me the wrong way, but you KNOW they both gave production the down south tingles, so they HAD to push that and promote/highlight it along with the fake boyfriend and ABSURD baby @ 50 storyline with Walter 2.0. I’m not itching for more of that, but if production will keep their grubby fingers to themselves, I wouldn’t mind a second season with her. Homegirl needs to borrow Kunty’s glam squad, though, cuz MESS!!!?
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 27, 2025 - 6:56 pm
I just saw a YouTube clip of Bozo (now I'm BACK to calling her that) on Jimmy Fallon, which reminded me that NBC owns Bravo. Of course Jimmy is all over her telling her how beautiful she is. Her reply; "Yes, I know". He then starts selling the bs about her being this mega-important black business women ... her response "Yes, that's true .. I am" ... at which point I swiped up (to go to another video short).
Champagne Hangover March 27, 2025 - 9:26 pm
Yeah, another thing (besides her admitted racist hiring practices) that I find sus is that from what I’ve heard these amazingly girl boss coveted positions she landed with Uber and Netflix lasted one and two years respectively. If that’s true, um….am I still supposed to be impressed? ? Cuz AT LEAST if you’re going to be arrogant have something of substance to back it up. ? And no, being an affirmative action hire is not enough. ? Arrogance is off putting enough, but arrogance without cause? ?
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 27, 2025 - 10:37 pm
Her professional DEI stints were indeed short lived, and I maintain she didn't join this show because her life is perfect. But I'm willing to give her the benefit and chalk her bad attitude up to "nerves". Still, I predict that we're going to see the real Bozo next season ... perhaps something in the form of a one bedroom rental in Century City.
Champagne Hangover March 28, 2025 - 11:39 am
Lol. Yeah. I can see SOME potential in there which may be due entirely or partially to rose tinted glasses, but I’m with you. Let’s see the REAL Boz ? I highly doubt that we will because what doesn’t fit the narrative is forbidden ?, AND this woman’s ego is inflated to the point of morbid obesity! But AT LEAST can we just quietly drop these absurd babies at 50 storylines, then drop Walter 2.0 off at the nearest pound ? AND PLEASE for the sake of our eyeballs and all existing aesthetic sensibilities GET THIS WOMAN A STYLIST, one who does not HATE her!!!! Is that asking too much? ?
