Kyle Richards Accuses Garcelle Beauvais of Exploiting Her Friendship with Morgan Wade for Drama

Tension is brewing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as Kyle Richards takes aim at her castmate Garcelle Beauvais for bringing up her controversial friendship with country singer Morgan Wade on camera.

During a recent dinner in St. Lucia, the topic of Kyle’s relationship with Morgan made its way into the conversation—something that Kyle has made it very clear she doesn’t want to discuss in front of the cameras. Garcelle, however, had other plans, calling out the “confusing” nature of the cast tiptoeing around a friendship that’s already out in the public eye. While Kyle may have rolled her eyes in the moment, Garcelle insisted she was just trying to make sure she was being “supported.”

But Kyle wasn’t having it.

In the RHOBH After Show, Kyle opened up about her frustrations: “When Garcelle and I have spoken in private, she’s been totally understanding of my position that I’m in in discussing this,” Kyle shared. But when it came to the group setting, she felt Garcelle’s actions didn’t match their private conversations. “In front of the other ladies, though, she wants to bring it up and bring it to the table. It just doesn’t match our private conversations. So, in these moments, I’m like, ‘Well, here we go again.’”

Garcelle, however, wasn’t backing down. She offered a different perspective, claiming that even if Kyle had asked her not to bring up the subject on camera, she would have understood. “Even if she said to me, ‘I don’t want to talk about it right now,’ and then later pulled me aside and said, ‘This is why I don’t want to talk about it in the group,’ I would have understood,” Garcelle explained. But she wasn’t about to ignore the elephant in the room: “We’re not dumb. The people out there are not dumb. We see it.”

It’s clear that there’s a lot of unresolved tension between the two, and things don’t seem to be getting better anytime soon. Garcelle opened up on the March 18 After Show, expressing her desire to have a “deeper” relationship with Kyle but questioning how they could get closer if certain topics—like Morgan—were off-limits.

Kyle, on the other hand, has some serious doubts about the foundation of their friendship. She admitted that she has always respected Garcelle’s boundaries when it comes to what she feels comfortable talking about on camera. But when Garcelle brought up Morgan in St. Lucia, Kyle was left questioning whether that same respect was being returned. “Obviously if I’ve shared things with Garcelle and these conversations were genuine to me and I leave these conversations feeling like, ‘this person’s my friend,’ and then all of a sudden, her actions are completely different the next time I see her, of course I’m going to question the validity of her words to me that we’ve had in private,” Kyle explained.

Kyle also stated that Garcelle’s son did not want to shoot the show and didn’t want to be talked about so she respected that.

Now, Kyle is proceeding with caution. She admitted that there’s a difference between arguing with a friend and feeling like you need to have your guard up. “I’m like, ‘Wow, do I need to have my guard up with Garcelle? … I shouldn’t have my feelings hurt after this many years, but I do.”

As the drama continues to unfold, it’s clear that Kyle and Garcelle have a long way to go before they can find common ground. Will they be able to resolve their issues, or is this a friendship that’s too far gone? Time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—this season of RHOBH is far from over!

How did Kyle treat Yolanda? LVP?, Denise? Talk about kicking people when they are down. Her and Dorit should know that you get what you give. Kyle and Dorit and Erika are the queens of dishing it out and not being able to take it. Erika’s true colors will be exposed with this lawsuit with her costume designer.

maybe Garcelle is trying to add something, anything, to this season other than the poor Dorit Fuck Sutton script they’ve been acting out so far.

Ok I must defend Kyle on this one because Garc has given us zero since joining other than being Sutton’s mouthpiece lapdog and questioning others …

I understand it is hard for someone to come out gay or bi in this country (and many others). But if Kyle really wants to shut down this issue for public consumption, she needs to just shut up herself. She does not need to respond to any comment made about her affair with Morgan no matter where, when or who said it. Indeed, this is what most of my friends who struggled with coming out did before they ere out -- ignore the comments, change the subject, whatever. If anyone is keeping this story alive, it is Kyle. And I have no doubts she is doing it simply for the attention it gets her. She will use anyone and anything to keep her name in the forefront.

I slightly disagree with your ending . Kyle has kept Morgan off show this year ,doesn’t initiate anything about her on show , does things with her off show . I think because they’re “ friendship” caused so much angst for others ( Morgan , family maybe ) last season , she is keeping that off which I agree since Morgan is not a cast member or family. The way some are trying to poke / interrogate is getting a bit unnerving . Why does garcelle need to know so bad ? Talk to your friend off camera nosy biatch What does garcelle do other than poke others and talk for Sutton? Maybe cast should ask that every episode ?.

This is a possibility...Kyle's daughters and/or Morgan herself not liking the outcome of last season. Then Kyle should just say that. As in, my daughters aren't ready for me to be so public with anyone yet or Morgan doesn't feel comfortable being part of this show after last season. Just say it on camera because it's a perfectly reasonable response and then everyone in that group just moves on.

Two things can be true at once: Garcelle can be an ahole and Kyle can be hiding who she is despite being on a reality show which ostensibly is SUPPOSED to be incompatible with that. ? That said, neither of these broads, try as they may, ? can make this Morgan/Kyle are they or aren’t they storyline interesting. No one cares and of those that once did, the time table to cash out on that expired QUITE a while ago. ?

I agree. No one really cares.

I really think Kyle believes this Morgan bullsh*t is some sort of gold mine and it is….FOOL’S GOLD! ? There’s a cognitive dissonance with this one that people just don’t find her interesting and she just won’t accept it. She was/is interesting adjacent as it relates to Kim, Kathy, Paris, Mau, etc, sure, to a degree. In and of herself or with some z list country crooner covered in prison quality tats? Not so much. ?

Haven't heard that term in 30 yrs! "I" once wrote a term paper called "The Cognitive Dissonance of Ross Perot", a friend at the time's idea. I didn't know what it meant, but it sounded good. I just remembered, she actually became a member of the GA House (of Reps). Another lib loon whom I no longer associate with.

Garcelle is nobody's friend. Can this girl get her own storyline? 5 season no storyline, no man, no dates just exploiting her kids.

This season it's kid (as in singular), with no explanation of WTF happened to the other one. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/efe15bad4009fadc343af37cd7ab701080c591bd62627a8e6d969a1f9581382e.png

I think he asked not to be filmed or mentioned on camera.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 21, 2025 - 7:22 pm
Apparently, but you would think that G would have mentioned it in a talking head or something.

Kyle's struggle is real, and I think it's very unfair for Garcon' (and most of the cast) to be invalidating her feelings. I don't think most (straight) people can relate to the uneasiness, if not sheer terror of being "found out" (outed) for being gay, and unfortunately, such feelings are valid even today. Try to imagine being conjectured about, ridiculed, judged, pitied, and sometimes downright loathed by society just for being born a certain way ... most simply can't. Even though I'm out now (and relatively content), not a day goes by when I'm not reminded some how, by someone, or something that I'm "different". Fortunately, when I'm alone, it's not really an issue (because I'm not the "colorful" type), but when I step out with a male friend, let alone my partner, it's an entirely different situation. For those of us from Kyle's generation is indeed struggling and trying to come to terms with who she is, I really wish people would give her a freaking break. Garcon' needs to STFU about matters she knows nothing about, because she's only making herself look like a callous and insensitive fool, but apparently this is who she is.

Total respect if this is the reason Kyle doesn't want to discuss her relationship with Wade but if true, then why did Kyle bring her on the show in the first place? The entire last season was about them and their friendship. Having said that, no one should ever have to feel the way you described.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 20, 2025 - 2:24 pm
Totally valid point Zappy; the mixed messages are abundant, starting with Kyle's appearance in Morgan's creepy video. Secondly, I haven't forgotten about Kyle's total lack of empathy for Denise Fcking Richards when she was being outed. I was thinking that this could be Garcon's payback, but then again, she wasn't exactly empathetic towards Denise either. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2104ae20d44dc37d153f3120c6a8a36e5d5cea00c158e0b2b6b9039f656e98ab.jpg

I thought Garcelle stuck up for Denise, especially with Rinna. But I could be wrong.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 21, 2025 - 7:23 pm
Yup she did, but only to a point. She certainly wasn't ride or die.

I heart you Snarky. I have had similar conversations with a lot of my gay friends, and even though I cannot fully relate, I can be apologetic for the struggles you have faced growing up and the @ssholes out there for their lack of acceptance and ignorance. Thankfully people's attitudes are rightly changing. Garcelle's not so much, this woman is missing an empathy chip and thinks someone's sexuality should be public fodder...feck Garcelle!
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 21, 2025 - 7:36 pm
Thanks gf, I really hate to sound like a "victim" because that's just not me, but I'm certainly capable of it if I dwell on things too long. There is a lot in life that we as gay people miss out on, even if it is self-induced. I've often described it as instead of participating in life, we watch it ... from a distance. It helps having a supportive family and close friends, but it can still be a lonely life.

And how did Kyle treat Denise Richard’s? Kyle said if it was mentioned on camera they had to talk about it. Kyle even acknowledged that Denise was fighting for her marriage. Knowing that , Kyle continued to dog the heck out of Denise.
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark March 27, 2025 - 2:55 pm
Agreed ... not one of Kyle's best moments. They all piled on Denise, and like I said, Garcon' was not exactly a good ride or die friend either.
