Tamra Judge, the star who’s given fans more drama than any other Real Housewives alum, has recently addressed her tumultuous future on The Real Housewives of Orange County after hinting at quitting the show entirely. On the latest episode of her and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Judge opened up about the personal struggles that led her to consider stepping away from the franchise.
Judge, who’s been very open about her mental health journey in recent years, admitted that this season of RHOC was a difficult one. “I think I just hit a wall,” she reflected on the podcast. “There’s so much going on in my life, and it’s just… I don’t know.” Tamra Judge elaborated on how she’s been struggling with some personal issues, seeking therapy in hopes of finding relief.
“I just feel like I’m gonna be in a full depressed mode,” she confessed. “I’m just so mad at myself because I feel like I just can’t pull myself out of the funk.”
This year, she explained, has not started off well, with things seemingly piling on top of her. “It’s just been one thing after another,” she said, showing a raw vulnerability about her mental and emotional state.
During the conversation, Tamra Judge admitted that she went into filming this season uncertain and anxious, “not sure” about whether she was ready to continue. “I’m like, ‘Should I just quit?’ Because it’s just… I feel like it’s breaking me down,” she said, leaving fans to wonder whether her time on the show was coming to an end.
Fans were quick to notice her cryptic Instagram post on March 9, which read, “It was a long run! When life gives you real problems this reality s— doesn’t make sense. Peace out … I’m out.” Her brief caption, paired with a selfie on the next day that read “Mental health is health,” sent a flurry of speculation that Tamra was calling it quits for good.
Tamra even confirmed the rumors with a comment on a fan account’s post, saying “Yes!!!” when asked if she was really leaving the show. But it wasn’t all doom and gloom—Judge credited her Two Ts in a Pod cohost, Teddi Mellencamp, for helping her pull herself out of the mental fog. “Teddi gave me a pep talk and that is like the first time I’ve laughed in so long,” Tamra shared, recalling how her friend encouraged her to push forward despite the challenges.
When Dolores Catania remarked on the speculation that Judge might need a “little break,” Tamra agreed, acknowledging that her body has been shutting down from the emotional strain. “It just completely shuts down,” Judge admitted. “And that’s how I feel, and it’s really hard to film like that when you feel like that.”
Tamra even shared a photo reuniting with Teddi Mellencamp on March 12.
