Sutton Stracke Unleashes: Calling Dorit Kemsley “The Phoniest” and Defending Her Controversial Remarks

Sutton Stracke Unleashes: Calling Dorit Kemsley “The Phoniest” and Defending Her Controversial Remarks

In the glamorous, drama-filled world of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, alliances can shift in the blink of an eye, and betrayals often sting like a thousand cuts. But every now and then, a feud escalates into something so intense, so personal, that the gloves come off entirely. For Sutton Stracke, that moment has arrived — and she’s not holding back. When Sutton sets her sights on someone, she goes in with precision, and this time, Dorit Kemsley is in her crosshairs.

And now, after the dust has settled, Sutton Stracke isn’t backing down. In fact, she’s doubling down, and she’s got more to say than ever.

In the heat of a heated argument, Sutton Stracke took a swing at Dorit’s financial status, accusing her of living a life of illusion. She boldly referenced Dorit’s “wallet size” as the lowest blow she could muster, and when pressed on it during the RHOBH After Show, Sutton didn’t backtrack. Instead, she stood by her statement with an intensity that left no room for doubt: “In the moment, don’t regret it. I was mad. I reacted in a very aggressive way with the lowest insult that I could come up with in my brain.”

But Sutton wasn’t just making an off-the-cuff insult — she was laying out her case with fire and conviction.

The Real Reason Behind Sutton’s Fury

Sutton didn’t just insult Dorit’s wealth for fun; there’s a deeper frustration at play. In her eyes, Dorit’s entire life is a façade — a “smoke and mirrors” act that Sutton can’t stomach anymore. According to Sutton, Dorit is one of the “phoniest people” she’s ever met. From pretending to have fancy clothes, jewelry, and designer handbags to allegedly owing money elsewhere, Sutton sees nothing but lies and pretense.

“If she had just come to us and said, ‘Y’all, you know what, we’re in a financial struggle. I am in a marriage that’s not working…’ It would be much more likable and relatable to me,” Sutton explained. “But to pretend like everything is perfect, and then all of a sudden it’s not… that’s what my problem is with her.”

For Sutton, this isn’t just a personal issue with Dorit’s character; it’s about authenticity. She wants people to own their struggles, to be real and raw instead of crafting an image of perfection. And when people act like they have it all together when they don’t? That’s when Sutton calls it out.

The Line Between Realness and Pretense

In the After Show, Sutton didn’t mince words. She went beyond just calling Dorit fake; she suggested that her entire life is built on an illusion, one that Sutton simply can’t relate to or tolerate. And she made it clear that she’s all about living honestly. “I’ve made a lot of changes in my life since I got divorced,” Sutton shared. “I struggle with my Augusta house all the time. It’s a lot to upkeep. I just made a decision to move from my — and I know this sounds real stupid, but I’m still being very honest — my apartment in New York. I downgraded so I can live the way I want to in an honest way.”

The Backlash: Dorit Fires Back

As expected, Dorit wasn’t about to let Sutton’s bombshell comments slide quietly into the background. She fired back with her own thoughts, clearly unbothered, but not without noting Sutton’s past actions. “I know how low she’s capable of going,” Dorit remarked, referencing Sutton’s previous cold moments. “It’s the same woman who very callously, abruptly interrupted me when I was pouring out my heart about my child.”

Dorit wasn’t the only one who had a problem with Sutton’s remarks. Kyle Richards expressed her horror at Sutton’s low blow. “How did you get your money, Sutton? It’s not exactly bragging rights,” she pointed out. “Are we basing our value on who we are as a person by how much money is in our bank account?”

Even Bozoma Saint John weighed in, taking issue with Sutton’s open conversation about finances. “If you’re really trying to have some class, you don’t talk about money like that,” she said, emphasizing that there’s a certain decorum expected among the group.

Did Sutton go too far?

What I found interesting is Tilly’s comment after Sutton said Dorit should have told them about her financial problems and her marriage. Tilly defended Dorit and Sutton did NOT like that. I know everyone goes back to Dorit claiming her marriage was better than ever at the reunion and her lying about it. I wonder if this is during the honeymoon phase of PK’s getting sober. Because when a partner gets sober the initial period after you usually have this honeymoon phase of things are calmer and appear better. So I think it could’ve been that honeymoon phase when she was at the reunion.

Okay, I watched this episode again and I have to say that my favourite part is when Dorit calls Sutton a "f*cking C*nt". Man, did Sutton have that coming. Yes, I can be petty. ?

Sutton discussing anyone's financial status is a cop out given both she and her mother live off her ex-husband. The woman is delusional.

On a different note, as this season progresses and with each of these gatherings, it's becoming increasingly evident that these women can't stand each other. The non-stop jabs never end. From Dorit calling Sutton "a miserable bitch", "a fcking c*nt", and then threatening to "eviscerate" her, to Kathy fcking Hilton (of all people) accusing Kunty of belittling "the Valley", to Bozo getting all uppity when Sutton jokingly asked her "how many people do you have in you today?". In the preview for next week we see Kyle turn on the bitch switch when Kunty suggests Mo's pap pics are intentional. My point is all these women seem to go from zero to 100 in a split second with each other, which suggests to me that there is just no genuine bonds here. The awkwardness between all of them is palpable,

Sutton is right about Dorit. Dorit and PK have massive bills -- most long overdue -- but Dorit keeps spending and pretending that she is wealthy with no financial problems at all. But this is nothing that so many of us have seen and known for several seasons.

Dorit is a phony, fake face, hair, accent, fake lifestyle. I noticed the absence of the day and night nannies along with the nanny that relieved them for breaks has been replaced by Dorits Mom and the person hired to fill the kettle for afternoon tea is missing ?

Sutton has been comparing her wallet to Dorit's all season long. She made that comment about Dorit's "lusting for a lifestyle that other women on the show already have", little jabs about her home, and even the validity of her couture'. Sutton needs to be reminded that her alleged wealth came from a divorce decree, and from where I'm sitting Dorit's earning potential is WAY higher than Sutton's.

You're not wrong, Dorit has a far better chance of becoming a billionaires sugar baby than does Sutton based solely on looks BUT Sutton already has a multi million dollar head start. Sutton has said many times, her x husband wasn't rich or successful when they married, he got there while married to her, as his wife, it's her $.

I’m glad Sutton finally told “Poorit” to leave the mouse alone.

Sutton is clumsy with her words…and sometimes her thoughts. I mean, she’s not wrong about Dorit BUT where she makes a fatal mistake is exalting herself at the expense of Dorit when, as even a dimwit like Kyle can point out, you can find flaws with Sutton’s contrived persona too if you just scratch the service of the gold plated veneer. ?That said, imo Sutton’s REAL issue with Dorit, when the gloves REALLY came off, is due to Dorit exposing Sutton’s…uh, ‘enthusiasm’ for the sauce, the hooch, the fire water. ? JMO. Cuz I ain’t saying where there’s smoke, there’s fire BUT maybe, just maybe, some fire water… ??? idk ???? IJS

I concur ... I don't think there's any doubt that Dorit started this round, but Sutton is taking it to a level that's not necessary.

The animosity runs deep. ?

Yup, I just posted about that very thing ?(above)?.

You are too kind Champs. I just think she is an @sshole. If I was to be complimentary I may call her a clumsy @sshole!

Sutton is all about money and status. If she were being honest, she would confess that her divorce has made her angry and bitter because she not only is now divorced from her wildly successful husband, but she's divorced from his lifestyle too. And she loves that lifestyle and now another woman has it. So everything Sutton says to Dorit is just an expression of the frustration she has with her own life. BTW, Dorit doesn't pretend to have fancy clothes...she does have them. I don't get that one.
Champagne Hangover February 26, 2025 - 9:44 am
I think A LOT of these broads rent and borrow clothes. I think that is what she’s implying, and I think virtually ALL of them do it, even ones who can technically afford to buy instead cuz why not? ???? Dorit probably takes it to a whole new level of pretense from Sutton’s perspective, but nonetheless, Dorit is HARDLY alone in doing this. Even legit celebrities do this. So meh…?
RyNy83 February 26, 2025 - 10:13 am
if I was expected to have something new every event I would rent and return also.
Champagne Hangover February 26, 2025 - 10:44 am
Yep! Even if you can afford to buy, who wants to accumulate more stuff if you don’t have to? And if you decide ya just can’t live without it, you can always buy it later.

These ladies don't like to wear anything TWICE so you're absolutely correct...I mean where would you store everything.

Or you could just have fake ones like Garcelle.

Sutton looked really off last night, almost Haggart looking, she was either hungover, had a few before the event. she just looked rough in the face.

She sure did, ?!!

So did Kyle and Tilly. The HD cameras are brutal.
