Tamra Judge and Eddie Judge’s relationship has definitely seen its fair share of drama, but one moment had Tamra genuinely thinking her marriage was on the rocks for good.
In a recent episode of the Amy & T.J. Podcast, Tamra Judge opened up about a heated fight during the early years of her marriage that nearly ended it. But before we all go blaming Tamra’s ex-husband for being a bit too “hands-on” in her life, let’s be clear—Eddie Judge himself was ready to hit the exit button, and not in the subtle way.
During the episode, Tamra recalled how Eddie completely ghosted her mid-argument. According to her, he literally left in the middle of the fight, went MIA for hours, and didn’t even respond to texts. And Tamra? She thought that was it. Done.
But the twist? When Eddie finally returned, he was all zen-like, as if nothing happened. As Tamra put it, “He just needs time to vent and I wasn’t used to that.” Sure, Eddie needed some “me time,” but here’s where the real plot twist comes in—Eddie himself admitted that there were moments when he threatened to walk away from the relationship with Tamra.
“I would say, ‘I’m out. I’m done. I don’t want to be in this relationship,’” Eddie confessed. “And she would always pull me back and kind of teach me, ‘No, this is not how it works. This is marriage, we work through it.’”
Despite their ups and downs, Tamra and Eddie Judge are clearly dedicated to working through any issues that come their way. But there’s one line neither of them is willing to cross—cheating.
When asked about dealbreakers, Eddie didn’t mince words. “Cheating. Infidelity,” he stated bluntly. “She can crash the car, she can burn the house down—”
Tamra, ever the comedian, jumped in with a quick quip, “Chase you with a knife!” (But let’s be clear, she was totally joking. We think.) “No, seriously, it’s cheating. We’re so connected, and if that happened, I don’t think I could ever get over it.”
The couple shared how the lack of children between them might make it easier to part ways if something like that ever happened, but that doesn’t make the emotional toll any less severe. For Tamra, trust and loyalty are at the very core of their bond, and if Eddie ever betrayed that, it would be game over.
