While the RHOBH cast has had their share of ups and downs, Kyle Richards relationship with PK seemed particularly interesting given the state of affairs between her and Dorit. During a conversation with Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Richards shocked viewers (and Garcelle) by revealing that PK still reaches out to her, even amid the tension between their respective families.
As Garcelle pointed out, it’s a bit “ironic” that Kyle and PK remain connected while Kyle and Dorit are not on the best terms. Kyle’s response? “Well, how about that PK reaches out to me?”
Garcelle’s surprised reaction was palpable: “What?! He does?” And Kyle confirmed, “Oh yeah.”
The nature of their communication? Memes. In a later interview with E! News, Kyle Richards explained that the texts between her and PK are just casual, lighthearted exchanges—often involving funny memes. It seems the two have a longstanding tradition of sending memes to each other, a form of communication that has persisted for years. Kyle was quick to clarify that Dorit had never minded their texting exchanges, even acknowledging that, “She would even say, ‘Kyle and I were not even speaking and she and PK will send their memes and I see them laughing, like, there they are, like brother and sister.'”
Despite the tension with Dorit, it seems Kyle and PK’s bond remains rooted in humor and a deep friendship that predates any of the drama that’s unfolded on the show.
Of course, Kyle’s recent outreach to PK became a point of contention for Dorit, who expressed her surprise on Watch What Happens Live. After learning that Kyle had texted PK about his separation from Dorit before even reaching out to her, Dorit seemed caught off guard. “I was surprised in the moment that she had texted him before she ever [texted] me,” Dorit admitted.
