Bethenny Frankel Calls RHONY Recap 'A Piece Of Trash,' Says She Doesn't Like How Bravo Treated The OGs

Bethenny Frankel isn’t holding back when it comes to the reboot of the Real Housewives of New York. Bethenny says the reboot is a “piece of trash.”

Posted on her TikTok, Bethenny Frankel acknowledges that she has seen videos of people saying the reboot is unwatchable and Bethenny agrees! Bethenny says, “Justice for Sonja, Dorinda, LuAnn and Ramona because they were ride or die.”

Bethenny calls out Bravo saying, “That show was on their back and all of a sudden they all got replaced with shiny new toys.”

Bethenny adds, “I know a lot more money was spent on the new cast and the new show,” saying that the former housewives were treated like step children explaining, “They’ve always been discarded. I know the money they’ve gotten paid. I know the demotions. I know the budget. I know the premiere budgets. They know. I know. We know. You know.”

Bethenny reveals she does not watch the show and she is sure the newbies are “lovely,” but says, “as they (OGS) got older, just got dropped off at the side of the road,” she said before revealing Bravo only has “200,000 people watching this piece of trash.” Bethenny has always said she doesn’t understand the reboot.

It sounds like Bravo may have went the reboot route because of how much they were paying the OGs to continue on the show while it’s been reported multiple times that a first year housewife makes around 60k a season.

Bethenny has since deleted the video.

I am not a fan of the reboot and I miss the OGs but Bethenny needs to go away. She and Kelly Dodd can't seem to keep their noses out of their respective shows despite saying that they have no interest in returning.

I have no interest in returning = Returning is not an option 99% of the time, so there’s that, BUT I otherwise disagree. I wish both Kelly and Bethenny would shut their respective maws about pretty much everything BUT all things housewives. I don’t give a single eff what Bethenny thinks about some overpriced cream, but do I want to see her go after some broads like the pit bull she is? Yep and ditto for Kelly! I'm waiting for B & K to take the gloves off with Bravo once and for all. Bethenny is just about there, but she still kind of tiptoes around her former pimp (probably due to the affiliation with NBC). Meanwhile, although she won't admit it, I think Kelly is still hanging onto a glimmer of hope that she will be asked back to OC or at least get a RHUGT gig, so she's understandably hesitant to completely burn her bridges with them, even though I believe this latest fight with John Hill and Andy WAS the official end. But when they finally cut the chord (permanently), it's going to be epic.

Didn’t Bethenny essentially pay for Lu’s rehab or something like that back when Lu was a drunken mess tryna steal her kids’ inheritance (you know, the ones the nanny raised while she was a ‘weekend mom’)? ? I know B bailed Lu out of some sort of an embarrassing pickle, a pretty penny it cost too. So, at the LEAST they are even Steven since Lu essentially told B to eff off, presumably to ensure B’s good deed would NOT go unpunished. ?

Yes, she hooked her up with the best lawyers money could buy (via Dennis) and presumably flipped the bill for her rehab spa stay(s). Lu has acknowledged this. They all turned on Beth when she quit the show literally the day before filming S12 (after negotiations failed). Enter Leah McSweeney (whom Bethenny recommended as her replacement).

That is very true and Lu is a pretty self centered individual when it comes down to it but most of them are.

Bethenny was brutal for sure, but you have to remember that we're seeing a very edited 41 minutes each week of what took MONTHS to film.
