Teddi Mellencamp Thinks Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umanksy Could Rekindle Marriage Plus, the RHOBH Exes Spotted Together With Their Daughters

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp believes that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky could eventually get back together. 

The former Bravo star got candid about Kyle Richards‘ relationship with Mauricio Umanksy while chatting with PEOPLE on Tuesday. Teddi Mellencamp noted that the former RHOBH couple “get along and still communicate.” 

“I think that shows the love that’s there [is] throughout their family and their life and the kind of people that they are because that’s not common,” Teddi Mellencamp said. “And, you know, no one knows what the future holds.”

The 43-year-old added that Kyle is doing “amazing” amid her split from Mauricio and wishes them “all the best.” 

“When you look at the history of other people that are going through ups and downs, I think they’re doing pretty great,” Teddi Mellencamp continued.

Kyle and Mauricio announced they were separating in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The news came as a shock to RHOBH fans and the couple’s daughters Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. 

The two denied any wrongdoing in their marriage but admitted that they endured a “challenging” year. Mauricio has since moved on with 33-year-old model Nikita Kahn, who he was spotted kissing in Greece over the summer. In August the two were photographed getting cozy at a luxury resort in Mexico. 

Despite the two giving each other the green light to date other people, Kyle allegedly had a meltdown when she first saw photos of Mauricio and his new girlfriend, according to the RHOBH OG’s older sister Kathy Hilton.

“I think it was a hard pill to swallow seeing it,” Kathy Hilton told Page Six over the summer.  “So what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a little bit. ‘You know, this was bound to happen. You’ve been separated.’”

Meanwhile, Kyle and Mauricio recently attended a wedding together with their four daughters. Farrah posted several pictures of her and her sisters at the wedding including one shot of them with their parents, which confirms the former RHOBH couple are on good terms.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 14 in late 2024 or early 2025.

Personally, I never understood how polar opposites (politically) could even co-exist together, let alone marry. Mauricio obviously finally came to his senses. Thankfully, he's still young enough to have a nice full life with someone else, less shall we say, "misguided".

My My, the World's most reliable renowned top psychologist, Teddi the shadow Mellencamp, the one the only most boring housewife in HW's history has spoken. Kyle is too insecure, too jealous to ever overlook or forgive Mo for moving on from the marriage she called quits on. It was quite okay for her to do the same with the tattooed female youngster, but far be it for Mo to follow suit. Nah, the marriage is over. Staying Friends is all it will be moving forward.

Teddy went from a chick who wore overalls and no makeup to a blonde cloned version of Kyle. She turned into everything she despised.

Maybe they should just exchange each other's girlfriends rather than try to reconcile. Then when each of those girlfriends are gone, they can exchange the next pair of girlfriends. And then the next. Then the next. At least it would give them something to bond over and discuss when they get together for dinner or whatever..

I don't think Kyle will ever get past him dating other women, sleeping with other women. We all know Kyles personality and she will never get past that. I think they should co parent and I would love to watch her on the show date other men.
