Alexis Bellino Says RHOC Producers Are “Intentionally” Making Her Look Bad

Alexis Bellino encourages fans not to believe everything they see on season 18 of RHOC, claiming that producers are “intentionally painting her in a bad light.”

Over the weekend, Alexis Bellino took to Instagram to call out RHOC producers for making her look bad throughout season 18. 

According to Alexis, fans are NOT seeing the “True Alexis,” but never fear because the 47-year-old will “bring the truth out” on her Instagram and/or within her reality TV career.

“I just want to let everyone know that what you’re seeing in my career in not real. It’s not the truth. There has been so much left out intentionally to paint me in a bad light. It’s ok. I’ll take one for the team to get ratings for the business, but I will live in truth. And I will bring the truth,” Alexis wrote on Instagram. 

She continued, “Whether I have to do it here on my Instagram page or if this career I chose decides to bring the truth out. Either way, it WILL come out. And you will also see the true Alexis because what you’re seeing on your TV right now is NOT me.”

“I love you all, and I do not hate you for hating me because I would hate me too if I were you. But just hang tight, I’ll be speaking the truth after every episode of what has been left intentionally to paint me as someone I don’t even know. It will actually intrigue you all,” she added.

Since returning to RHOC for season 18, Alexis Bellino has been steeped in controversy thanks mostly to her relationship with Shannon Beador‘s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Alexis came in hot for Shannon from the start of season 18 and has not let up on her new man’s ex-girlfriend. Not only has Alexis called out the RHOC cast for giving Shannon too much sympathy following her September 2023 DUI, but she also threatened to release video footage John has from the night of her DUI. The video footage allegedly shows Shannon almost running over John’s daughter as she attempted to leave his Orange County home.

Just like fans, the RHOC cast is divided over Alexis’s behavior throughout season 18. Some, like co-star Emily Simpson, have dubbed Alexis “obnoxious” and “unreasonable,” while others, like Tamra Judge, feel that the hate being spewed towards Alexis by fans is “hurtful” and “disgusting” because she is “such a kind person and has a big heart.” 

Alexis joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2009 during season 5. She went on to star on the hit Bravo show for four seasons before exiting ahead of season 9. After a nine-season hiatus, Alexis signed on to appear as a friend of the Housewives for season 18. 


The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

To me, it is because she is playing the victim and that isn't going over well with the audience. We all knew who the victim was going to be, the moment she said yes to the first date with JohnJ. JohnJ is using Alexis, there is no doubt for whatever petty childish reason. And Alexis has played right into it and they are both doing it for cash. They didn't need to come on the show and this would have played out different. As much as it is painful for Shannon, with them on the show, it's doing Shannon a favour.

I don't get all the hate for JJ ... I think she's a hoot and everything a "HW" is supposed to be. I think it's pretty much a given that she's going to snag herself an orange next season ... the only question is whose? If by ‘good’ you mean rode hard and put away wet, I’d agree ?. For such a potentially beautiful woman and having been so in her youth (albeit exclusively by pole hugger standards), Alexis is aging like mayonnaise which will only become more and more apparent as her ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane’ years inevitably close in on her. ?? IJS ? Unforch for Alexis, her stupidity precedes her once again and this blaming editing and trashing production could very well cost her her coveted orange. Cuz I think she needs to step UP the treatments, get rid of those RIDICULOUS ‘90’s looking porn curl hair extensions, lose the dream of being a remotely passable blonde, stop shopping at Hookers R Us for cheap stripper gear, and ease up on the war paint/fire the glam squad who obviously HATE her. No doubt she has the raw material. She’s a natural looker. Why she wants to fug that raw material up with retired porn star does Baby Jane accoutrement is beyond me, but hey, if she likes the tired hooker look she can keep the tired hooker look. ???

And let’s be clear, I don’t like Alexis but she absolutely has the raw material to be a genuine knockout; however, she consistently CHEAPENS her beauty SO, SO, SO MUCH!!! And as we age, it becomes more and more apparent when we don’t adapt to maturity with sophistication that we become this cruel parody of our former selves without even realizing if we are not both humble and self aware. The more tell-tale signs of aging that emerge the more apparent the ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane’ syndrome becomes. It can sneak up on ya if you get stuck in this Neverland of anti-aging or fountain of youth Hopium that people sadly chase after in vain. ?

Exactly. I don’t see anything special about her, she looks like any other 40 something hanging on to their 20’s. All those injectables start to lose their shape and drag everything else down with them. The scary part is they have NO idea what’s in the chemicals they’re putting their bodies. The truth is finally coming out about how toxic food on the shelf is, imagine what strange ingredients are in these “ beauty aids”. Vanity is a sin… hear that Rev Mary?

No doubt she knew what her role would be this season before she signed her contract. I have to give her credit for fulfilling her part of the agreement. I am not sure why she thinks her "truth" will come out in her reality TV "career." As if anyone is going to follow her "career" other than what is on RHOC -- which obviously ain't pretty because she is following the script she has been giver by Bravo.

Alexis continues to play an inauthentic self on RHOC. The cast and the viewers see it. The fake persona is why the cast ganged up on her in her debut and now the viewers in her "reboot". She can blame the edit, but she only has herself to blame.

I actually like Alexis. She's kinda zany but she definitely picked the wrong story line or she really is getting a bad edit. I hope she survives and comes back next season without the Johnny J BS.
