RHOC newbie Katie Ginella says she has “more proof” of Heather Dubrow calling the paparazzi and claims there is “more” to the story but refuses to show receipts.
Katie Ginella insists that she has more receipts backing up her claims that Heather Dubrow called the paparazzi on herself and her husband, Terry Dubrow, in late 2022 as they faced rumors of marital struggles.
If you recall, during season 17 of RHOC, Heather was accused of calling the paparazzi on her and their husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, at Disneyland amid gossip that they were experiencing martial woes in 2022 due to alleged infidelity.
The Dubrows brushed off the cheating rumors, and Heather denied that she would ever stage a photo op.
However, during season 18 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, newbie Katie Ginella claimed to have proof that Heather did work with the paparazzi to snap pictures of her and Terry at the famous theme park.
The 40-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star tried to prove that Heather Dubrow called the paparazzi on herself and Terry by sharing a text with an unidentified friend, who worked at a photo agency.
On RHOC, Katie texted her friend, asking if Heather called the paparazzi to which the friend replied, “Yes.” However, many didn’t believe that text proved anything.
While Katie admits there is “more” to the story, she declared she won’t be sharing any additional receipts.
“There is more,” Katie admitted during an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. “My husband [Matt Ginella] and I have been in media for 20 years. We’ve known this person, and he is in charge of a big company that controls the paparazzi.”
Katie says she won’t share additional text messages from her unnamed friend because she “[respects] his job and [respects] his position.”
“I wouldn’t do that to him,” she explained. “I guess it’s going to look like that’s not a good enough receipt, but I’m going to be respectful to a friend, a dear friend.”
She adds that her friend is trying hard to stay out of the drama.
“They kind of just disengage,” the RHOC newbie said. “But I do know that there’s more.”
Katie admits that she and Heather are no longer speaking and believes that “semantics” played a role in Heather denying calling photographers.
“If you look back, I think it’s semantics a lot. Heather said, ‘I didn’t call, I didn’t call,’” she explained. “Well, that doesn’t mean your assistant or a friend [didn’t]. … It’s pretty obvious.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
