Jacqueline spoke with us at AllAboutTRH podcast and agreed to answer listener questions as far as her experience on the show. Jacqueline was on the Real Housewives for seven seasons. The show followed Jacqueline Laurita’s struggle to conceive, her relationship with her sister-in-laws, her friendships and the dynamic between her and her teenage daughter.

Jacqueline also found herself caught in the middle of best friend Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorgas complicated relationship.

When speaking to us, Jacqueline explained where Joe Gorga went wrong in regards to his relationship with his sister Teresa Giudice, explaining, “I think from watching the show, like you were saying, how Chris didn’t get involved watching the show. You can see for the most part, Joe was throwing his sister under the bus every chance possible, like he should’ve stayed out of it and talk to Melissa about it off camera to not disrespect Melissa. But he would also join in talking about Teresa where that’s where he went wrong.”

Jacqueline elaborated with an example saying, “You know, even from the first day of filming, you know, at the christening, even though Teresa was so angry at them for coming on the show the way they did, behind her back and then everything, she was just going to go on pretending like everything was great between them. And, she put her arms around her brother, asked him what he was doing. And then that first day of filming, he called her out on camera, oh, go away like you always do. Ignore us. Like you always do.”

Jacqueline adds, “if you were coming on the show, like Melissa said, just for the opportunity. Like, she claims it was she wouldn’t have exposed her expose their animosity on camera. They made it very clear that they wanted to and I think Melissa was a little jealous of Teresa’s fame. She wanted to be on display every day. And I think that that’s, you know, shows that they had ill intent coming on the show in the first.”

Based solely on what aired, it was very apparent that Joe came on the show filled with (unexplained) rage towards Teresa, but what we didn't see was what lead up to it. Was it justified or were he and Melissa just looking for a reason to join the show? Fifteen yrs., later, we're still in the dark. I think the time has come for both sides to either put it all out there, or STFU and go about their lives privately. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a57fb08313561f146138c470c800d2d83612a114d7e694b019c0fba8c8c33542.gif

Exactly . He never came on first episode looking to be family with his sister . He came in as an entitled little fuq with his publicity seeking wife as liars to boot . They plotted to get rid of her thinking they’d be in number one spot so to speak. They lied, manipulated, and fractured relationships to purposely cause division - every season. Their lies are on display for last decade yet , Teresa is the topic lmao !!!

Anyone who saw season 3 knows Jacqueline is telling the truth. It was evident there was a lot of malice and jealousy for viewers to see. Joe acted like an idiot in front of everyone including his parents. Their taste for fame and greed will never allow them to reach the platform that Teresa has, the Gorgas just aren't authentic.

All on tape and broadcast to a huge audience, so there’s no sense trying to re-write history. Joe and Melissa came on to show the world how they felt about Tre and how we were all wrong to enjoy her, then proved what snakes they were on their first episode. Interesting how Jackie is now defending Teresa and can see how her brother treated her very clearly…

It is interesting, I agree.

Yep. The Gorgas came on the show with a game plan to take Tre down at all costs.

Joe's constant criticism of Teresa on camera must have been extremely hurtful for her. First he sneaks on the show without telling her and then he intentionally attacks her for a story line. Teresa has experienced many betrayals in her life.

The way he spoke to her, about her, let others speak poorly about her/ make fun of her ( which he still does to this day) . Dizgrata!!

Yup ... calling her garbage/scum etc; I thought he crossed the line.

The fact that he allows everyone else to talk about his sister in his presence is screwed up. My brother and I don't always see eye to eye but I can talk smack to him or about the situation but I wouldn't let anyone else degrade my brother to my face. You're absolutely right, a lot of betrayals.

I always have said that. He has never once defended his sister . He has created these situations and he and meliar have incited the turning against Teresa brigades .
holy cannoli September 10, 2024 - 8:38 am
? agree. They did have ill intent by coming on the show., that christening showed it all.

That christening was one of the most upsetting episodes I have ever watched. Joe was so out of control his father collapsed. He was a bloody disgrace. And to think he would behave this way on the day his own baby son is being baptized. It was really bad.
