Gia Giudice Reveals She Is Financially Independent: ‘I Really Am on My Own’

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Gia Giudice reveals her financial status and insists: “I really am on my own.”

Longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know that Teresa Giudice‘s daughters have always lived fabulous lives. Gia Giudice and her sisters always had the best of the best when it came to toys, clothes, cars, etc, growing up.

While many believe that Gia Giudice lives off her mom’s wealth, the 24-year-old is setting the record straight and insists that she is financially independent.

Thanks to her fame from RHONJ, Gia has been able to pivot into a career as a social media influencer, which pays her a pretty penny. If you remember, last year, Gia, her sisters, and their mom collaborated with Shein for a fashion edit. Not to mention, Gia also snags a paycheck for appearing on RHONJ. Some reports claim Gia made $30k a year for the past few seasons of RHONJ.

“Financially, yeah, I really am on my own. And I think people don’t think I’m on my own,” Gia Giudice said on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast.

“Interesting,” Jason noted, to which the Rutgers University alum added, “People think I live off of  mommy and daddy’s money.”

“Up until this season, you’re on TV. Have you been able to stack some good money away from all this working experience? And has that financially changed your life?” Jason asked.

“Yeah. I definitely have been able to and I’m very grateful for that. I just recently leased myself a Porsche so that was a big girl purchase for me,” Gia stated.

“I still do live [at] home with my family, but financially I do cover everything myself. My dream car has always been a Porsche,” she further explained. “So, I was like, ‘This is what I want to do,’ and I was able to do that.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.

She's only finically stable because of Instagram & Tik Tok, which has garnered her followers due to RHONJ. Good for her though I just hope she is living alone like what Teresa wanted for her.

Gia is smart for living at home and saving her money.
Ross August 18, 2024 - 7:52 pm
Clearly, people are salty with Gia’s agreement.

Just when I think Marty Feldman Eyes couldn't get any dumber, she does. You are not financially independent when you are living with your parent rent and utility free. Oh, and you're leasing your vehicle, you little twit! Its no wonder, she will never become a lawyer, she's too dumb and lazy.
ScrappieONE August 17, 2024 - 9:27 pm
First off, financially independent is NOT living with your parents and second, leasing a car. Boy the stupid doesn't fall out of this treeeee... SMDH

Thank you. Lack of brains and delusion is obviously hereditary in that family.
Ross August 18, 2024 - 9:22 am
Lol. You know leasing a car actually requires a higher credit score AND it comes with a lower interest rate than financing a vehicle. If she would like, she could always just pay cash for the vehicle, lease another vehicle if she has higher equity with the vehicle (earned by leasing the vehicle), or finance the remainder of the vehicle. You have the power hand when leasing.
ScrappieONE August 18, 2024 - 10:55 am
Unless you put a ton of miles on it. Then you owe a ton of $$$ when lease is up.
Smudge love August 18, 2024 - 11:01 am
That's when the Lobster Head will arrange for it to be "stolen", just like the felon's Mercedes! ?
AnEnigmaWrappedInSnark August 18, 2024 - 3:14 pm
That is indeed where they get you ... leasing a car (you can't afford) is not smart. She would be better off BUYING something she can afford.
ScrappieONE August 18, 2024 - 4:15 pm
Being Financial Independent she should know this but she's too use to watch her con parents way of life. What happened to Gia going to college and becoming a lawyer??
Ross August 18, 2024 - 7:49 pm
If you put a ton of miles on the vehicle, more than in the lease agreement you simply pay the balloon amount contained in the agreement. The balloon payment has no affect on the mileage.

When you lease a car, it never becomes an asset - it's like renting a home instead of buying one.
Ross August 19, 2024 - 2:57 pm
Sorry incorrect. If you use less mileage than the depreciation estimate was agreed upon at sign in, you have a credit surplus because you’ve paid more on the vehicle than it has depreciated. And then, like I said, you have three different options of how you can proceed revolving the car. Paying the balloon, returning the vehicle, or financing the remainder. Similar to rent to own home agreements.

You still end up paying more money in the long run then if you had bought the car outright because you can't haggle on the price. By haggling on the price before any financing I usually end up getting my vehicles for at least 40% off sticker. That includes my new BMW. Leasing is the wrong way to go.
Ross August 22, 2024 - 8:27 pm
Obviously, purchasing the car outright would have the lowest cost. That’s why it wasn’t an option. The original scenario was financing vs. leasing. Profit margins on new vehicles are at maximum about 15%. If you received 40% off the sticker that means you would be paying a markup on the vehicle, which would defeat the purpose. Even if you received 40% off the MSRP, highly doubtable considering employee discounts are less than 8%, that would be so unlikely it doesn’t serve the topic of conversation.

Just because you don't know how to get a good deal on a car doesn't mean I don't. Numbers don't lie. And why didn't Gia have money to purchase a car? According to you, she's got her money coming in from her lil t-shirts, that is enough to pay for a car, at least a solid down-payment. She should have no reason to lease (aka throw money away).

Just because you can buy/lease a car if you still live at home you're not financially independent.
Zap It August 17, 2024 - 7:47 pm
Most young people can't afford to buy a home where I live. Housing costs have skyrocketed. A lot of people in their 30s and 40s can't afford to buy homes now. Having young adults move out and pay thousands in rent to pay off someone else's investment mortgage is throwing money and their future away. As long as young adults or any adult child is working hard or getting a higher education then it makes financial sense for them to live at home while they save for their future. Gia is financially independent otherwise and earning the education she deserves while building her future for a family of her own one day.
Ross August 17, 2024 - 10:52 pm
Her quote was taken out of context. In the interview she was saying, besides living in the house she was financially independent. Which in the alternative, she could be using her parents money for everything, she is pretty independent, and smart for not wasting her money. She’s learning delayed gratification, budgeting, and utilizing resources.
Jane_one August 17, 2024 - 5:43 pm
If she still lives at home then she is not financially independent. But, what she is saying is familiar to me. When I was still in school I worked a part time job and from that point on I paid for everything myself as far as personal expenses and gas for the car I drove. It was a heady feeling and I was proud of myself. But life moves on and then you really experience being on your own and it is nothing like you image. Good and bad all rolled into one. That is what Gia needs, the real world experience.
ontoiran August 17, 2024 - 4:44 pm
Good for Gia, is she still living in her Mommies house? At her age she should be on her own. Congrats on the SHEIN endorsement peddling their made in China crap clothes. Keep going girl… 30k doesn’t go far.
book7175 August 18, 2024 - 9:01 am
Yep, I wouldn't be bragging about endorsing poorly made cheap clothing from a company that is mired in scandals accusing the company of stealing designs, alleged use of forced labor, etc., etc
Smudge love August 18, 2024 - 10:55 am
Well, it's not as if LV, Chanel, Dior, etc. would let the felon or her dorters represent them, especially since all the "designer" shit they were is FAKE, just like those Fartier bracelets The Lobster Head gifted them two Christmases ago.
MB ??? August 17, 2024 - 3:17 pm
If you are not paying rent or a mortgage, utilities, property taxes, home insurance, cell phone in addition to doing your own cooking, cleaning, laundry, honey you are NOT independent. You are living under the same roof as your parent.
ontoiran August 17, 2024 - 4:45 pm
In her nutjob Mom’s world she is golden, so rich.
Smudge love August 17, 2024 - 10:51 pm
Her delusional mother still believes the Lobster Head is rich all the while as she is paying for his mounting legal bills.
Sharona August 17, 2024 - 9:54 pm
Exactly, and she wouldn't have been able to afford the Porsche if she was paying all the bills you mentioned.
Ross August 17, 2024 - 10:45 pm
Actually, she said that she got 70% of the proceeds from the $35 “Waking Up in The Morning” T-shirts, which as told by her was about 5000. Quick math, that’s about $120000+. In addition to her endorsements, influencing, SHEIN products, and Bravo.
Sharona August 18, 2024 - 10:18 am
It's not about her income, she claims to be financially independent which she's not. She's living in Loogie's house instead of her own.
