RHONJ alum Joe Giudice is coming to Louie Ruelas’s defense amid backlash over Louie’s recent comments about his stepdaughters.

Louie Ruelas recently appeared on his wife Teresa Giudice‘s Turning the Tables podcast, where the RHONJ couple discussed their blended family.

The RHONJ star and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, share daughters Gia Giudice, 23, Gabriella Giudice, 19, Milania Giudice, 18, and Audriana Giudice, 14. Louie is the father of Nicholas Ruelas, 23, and Louie Ruelas Jr., 20.

During the conversation, Louie emphasized the importance of living one’s youth to the fullest.

He then recounted what Teresa told her daughters, “Try it all! You know, nothing bad, or anything like that. But I’m saying, like, go to the club and dance, wear a thong, wear a short skirt, show your legs off a little bit.”

Because the Giudice girls are “the most proper girls [he’s] ever met,” the New Jersey businessman wants them to “take a risk.”

While Teresa fully supported Louie’s take, RHONJ fans found his comments a little off. Some called Louie “sick,” while others said his comments were “creepy.”

Initially, Joe Giudice seemed to agree with the opinions of RHONJ fans, calling Louie “weird” in one comment on Instagram.

“He comes off pretty weird. Just didn’t come across well. He’s actually not a bad person. I met him a few times,” Joe Giudice responded to a fan who wrote, “Joe, you need to comment creeps remarks about your daughters.”

However, Joe later clarified his comment with a statement on his Instagram Story. In fact, Teresa’s ex-husband came to Louie’s defense and even praised him as a great stepfather to his daughters.

Joe Giudice wrote:

“I don’t know why everyone has to take everything out of context. I know there are a lot of stories out there saying I commented badly on Louie. I’ve spent time with Louie, and I want to say I would never say anything wrong about him. Louie is a great guy and very good to my daughters. My daughters are very fortunate to have him in their lives. I’m grateful for that. That’s all I have to say. Enough with this BS.”

Joe defends and praises Louie amid backlash.

Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.

What Ewwy said was disgusting! No way any parent should be condoning that! But what can you expect, these are parents who put their own wants and needs before their children's well-being. Both of them are lying convicted felons who risked prison instead of thinking about that it would do to their children. So of course they're going to whitewash what was said by the creep and try to spin it as he was just misunderstood. That alone is BS!

Yes, Louis used a bad choice of words, inadvertently sexualizing Tre's dorters ... but shouldn't we also be questioning why the girls were wearing thongs in his (or anyone's) presence? What mother would allow that? We've been looking at Tre's girls wearing acrylic prostitution whore nails (with the outfits to match) and full makeup, since they were still in training bras. Please.

I agree Juicy- came off as weird however all show shit talk aside I just want to think that as a stepdad to girls - he just doesn’t get it . Trying way too hard to come off as the cool guy and he doesn’t need to do that with these young ladies .

Lobster boy is damn lucky Joe is cutting him some slack cuz not for nothing, but there ARE fathers out there who would not hesitate to beat the ever lovin’ snot out of a grown ass man who said that about their teenage daughters ESPECIALLY a stepfather. I’m not saying it’s wrong or right, just that it could happen and that I personally would NOT be mad at that. ?

If the comments Luis made weren't so bad and taken out of context like some of you STUMPS are saying, why did they delete that part from the podcast and then later delete the entire podcast? Nothing was taken out of context. He said what he said and he meant it. He's a sex addicted creep married to a fame whore creep. No mother in her right mind would be okay and AGREE with what he said, but then again this is the felon we're talking about.

Of course he's going to defend the creep and fellow criminal. The Giudices are piss poor parents who chose money and greed over the well being of their daughters. IMO, Teresa is worse for moving those girls in with an admitted wife beating, sex addict who she only knew for only a little over a year.

Totally creepy and if one reads the transcript of the podcast , it's way worse than what they chose to air on the pod. No man, especially a step- father should ever speak of young girls that way, especially when they are an admitted sex addict.
