Melissa Gorga slams her “phony” RHONJ co-star, Jennifer Aydin, and insists that “everything she does is for the show.”

It’s no secret that Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin have always had a rocky relationship on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The drama between Melissa and Jennifer has gotten ugly over the years. In fact, their drama has spilled over from the show and into their personal lives.

However, their feud intensified during season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, when Jennifer Aydin informed newbie Danielle Cabral about a rumor that Margaret Josephs told her former best friend Laura Lee Jensen about Melissa Gorga.

According to Jennifer, Margaret told Laura that she caught Melissa making out with another man in the backseat of a car in New York City.

At the time, Danielle was unaware that Melissa and Joe Gorga were already aware of the rumor, thanks to Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas, so she brought up the gossip on camera to warn Melissa. Thus, the rumor was exposed to the entire Bravoverse.

While Melissa and Jennifer attempted to move past said drama during season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, they clearly were not successful.

On Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Melissa addressed her continued beef with Jennifer.

Host Andy Cohen asked The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, “Melissa, what are your thoughts on Jennifer Aydin continuing to bring up new allegations about the cheating rumor after she apologized for doing it last season?”

“It just goes to show you that she’s so phony. Like, it’s so phony,” Melissa said. “She sits down, and she tries to have a conversation like she wants to move forward all the time.”

She continued, “And no matter what she does, she has to shade Envy. Like the fact that she threw shade at Envy and the fashion show. And it’s like, what happened to women supporting women? Rooting for girls who are doing things, creating small businesses. You know, I was a young girl when I created that business and it turned into what it is today.”

“I just think she’s so phony in so many aspects, and everything she does is for the show and not real,” Melissa added.

Andy then decided to have some fun with Melissa, asking the 45-year-old, “You love her?”

“Who?” a confused Melissa asked before realizing Andy was poking fun at her. “I’m like ‘Andy, that’s what you got from that?’”

The WWHL host replied, “I didn’t.”

Why is Melissa suddenly so, everywhere, with shady opinions, looking for a fight?? You would think that she's trying keep the spotlight trained on her.... Perhaps she a teenie, tiny bit afraid of losing the attention or spot on the show if there are these looming changes/reboot coming... Just a thought.

I can see them getting rid of the dead weight, but I just cannot see them getting rid of Teresa or the Gorgas. Like would be the point? The ratings aren't even THAT bad, especially compared to some of the dreck that Bravo keeps on the air. Besides, in my mind it's just getting good.

It is not so much about the cast, Bravo wants the social media and bloggers insanity for New Jersey wiped clean because it has become a real liability. It is so evil and ugly the blogs attacking both sides, 24 hours a days, the kids, nothing is off limits. Disgusting stuff, claims. It has all gone way, way too far. No one thinks they are wrong anymore, or crossing lines. Some of these people hope to also be part of the show or something, and if they can go after Teresa constantly enough, or Marge, maybe Andy will mention them on WWHL. Or maybe like Rachel Fuda who was a blogger, they will be considered to be chosen to join the show. But NJ is so much worse than the other cities, and Bravo wants the slate wiped clean. Yes, the cast not getting along is an issue, but the bloggers has contributed to that significantly! The social media is why the reunion was canceled, both sides wanting to bring up stuff they had from their bloggers each convinced it was the truth, and had to be exposed. No one will listen to basic logic. Sad it came to this.

Very interesting take. I'm not that much into SM, so I wasn't aware of the severity, but it sounds like the same ol' thing; Bravo encourages (if not creates) these hostile atmospheres, and then wants to just walk away and wash their hands of it (at the "talent's" expense). This is why I'm Team Reality Reckoning.

No, both sides are equally viscous and brutal. You could go read the top 10 reality blogs right now, go look at x and insta and report back who is attacking who more and for today at least it would not be Teresa fans attacking more in comments and blog post, but Melissa and Marge fans attacking Teresa more and have been for some time. Earlier in the year it could have been the exact opposite . So no, the brutality on social media, the blogs, x, insta..goes both ways. You may not see your own bias, and that is the point.

As someone who HAS been attacked by Teresa people for simply pointing out some discrepancies, I would Teresa fans are the most vicious. I don't attack anyone about it, but when I just show examples of Teresa's misdeeds over the last 15 years I get attacked, blocked, ganged up on, etc. I just want to have a normal conversation and it is always VICIOUS replies from the Tre fans. They rabidly attack. That is my experience. If Joe Gorga breaths they go after him like he murdered someone!

Melissa is the epitome of phony, who is she trying to convince? it shows in everything she says and does. Jen has no filter at times but at least you know where she's coming from. Happy that Tre and Luis are having some fun times in Greece and Jen and Bill seem ok to me! Haters secretly wish to be you and are jealous of your situation. Teresa has built herself up from all the bricks that have been thrown at her and Jen is far from living in a van. Just sayin...

Although I undoubtedly annoy some, I'm just very Switzerland on the whole thing (which is so unlike me!). I truly see both sides of the argument, and enjoy them both in different ways. I feel like I'm back in high school, where I was genuine friends with the jocks, the freaks, AND the nerds.

Ha!! Don’t you be a Dolores ! I kid , I kid . There were a few , and I mean few times over the years where I saw a glimpse of Melissa being decent however it was short lived . How she came on show? How they always went against Joe’s only sister and had teammates join in and so on / this is why I say phony and she’s just not genuine on here ( imo) We never saw one version of her stay same . Any season , unless it was against Teresa ( that was same )

I stopped watching because of Jennifer, I despise her. She's still that fat girl in school that no one wanted to be friends with and takes it out on everyone in her "adult" life. She chose to be a wife and mother and failed miserably at both. If she wasn't married to Bill and his $$, she would be living in a van down by the river.

When Jen was on WWHL, she did address those comments. She said she didn’t think the producers would air it because every other time she put Messy in her place, the producers cut it out. She admitted that she was being shady and she apologized. I watched it live. Messy is just clinging on to Jen because Teresa won’t give her anything and Jen Aydin is a lot more relevant than Messy.

In all fairness I think all of them had a nice bravo cushion to sit on and I’ll be interested to see who does what for longevity income . Jennifer haw a career oriented husband , a beautiful home etc and she wants or needs for nothing . I think Bill is the only husband on this cast who has a legit , daily , real job . God bless I think long term Teresa will be ok. She’s a hustler , she’s been staying booked and busy so only time will tell

But Jennifer has nothing for herself. I agree that Teresa is a hustler, and most, if not all of the other women have businesses, real estate investments, endorsements, etc. Jennifer has none of those and has never shown an interest in doing anything. If Bill leaves her she has nothing but whatever alimony she's able to get which will be limited as she's young enough, and her kids old enough for her to go out and get a job.

Not every HW that does a franchise has her “ own” job per se .. some get things along the way from being here . I see your point but I can’t diminish someone that is able to be a stay at home mom either , and she is for now , able to do that . Some people in real life have no choice . I had to volunteer my ass off for a few years while mine was deployed several times . Someone had to raise people and run them around :)

Not diminishing a stay at home mom's decision but Jennifer has the opportunity to make hay while the sun shines and she didn't capitalize on it at all. We can't, and shouldn't, assume that marriage is forever especially since Bill already cheated on her, so it would be smart and prudent of her to start thinking about ways to become financially independent.

You are spot on Michers! Jen A. Out of all of them is set up the very best! She has a husband that has a very successful owner of a professional business and career that has afforded much wealth, a huge mansion and she never needed the pay check from Bravo ever in the first place! She is raising 5 kids, is very active in her church, with charities, volunteering, assisting small side businesses (jewelry) her family still run, and will not be damaged in any way if HW goes away unlike many of the HW. So to target Jennifer is laughable. Other HWs like Melissa, the word is she is going to list her shore house in days and they will be very concerned about replacing that $1 million annually. Brick and mortar businesses do not do great, especially when you are not the full owner of the business, that makes it tough to make a great deal of profit. Melissa has never been the full owner of her Envy businesses, but if she wants to pretend she has, sure, we can go with fantasy land, she lies so much, why stop now. But lying won’t pay her bills. Teresa, we’ll see what comes after her E series and Gia’s Bravo Series if there is more on the network or if they jump. They have current partnerships with Shein clothing and multiple other brands, if HW goes away do those or do those stay if the family jumps to another network, TBD. Teresa has done Super Bowl commercials, DWST, Apprentice, music videos and she has made contacts with different producers and networks so her agents and managers will be very aggressive reaching out to her contacts and relationships if Bravo doesn’t make an offer. Teresa will continue her Podcast, as will many HWs and we’ll see what happens.

I agree she wasn’t a young girl , she was like 35, married 3 kids. So yeah , not a young girl. She seems to be doing well. So good for her. As far as Jennifer throwing shade about the fashion show. I thought it wasn’t cool, I’ve been to several small stores / boutiques that host fashion shows, showcasing what they sell. It’s all good . As far as the Melissa / Jennifer thing. I feel they’ve both in at fault with their shade , nastiness to each other.

I love reunion jen I can’t lie ! During the seasons , they have a go at her behind her back , in confessionals and before and after she enters and leaves a room so by reunion time she’s watched all that and comes prepared . They jump her as a pack she verbally slices them down .

Funny you should say that because I'm watching reruns of season 11 and Jennifer admits that she went after Melissa at the season 10 reunion even though Melissa hadn't attacked her or said anything about her. And as to confessionals Jennifer says some pretty shady stuff about all the women and does it with her trademark evil smirk.
