RHOBH’s Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Hit With $6K Tax Lien

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's heated argument played out on RHOBH.

Estranged RHOBH couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky hit with $6K tax lien amid marriage woes.

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have been slapped with a $6k tax lien amid their ongoing separation.

The Daily Mail was the first to report on the tax lien from 2022.

On Friday, the state of California issued a tax lien in the amount of $6,542 placed on Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marital home in Encino, Calif.

The estranged RHOBH couple purchased the 10,000-square-foot home in 2017 for $8.3 million.

In May, The Agency founder, 54, moved out of the seven-bedroom, eight-bath mansion and relocated to a luxury condo in West Hollywood.

It is currently unknown how the estranged couple plans to handle the lien, but this isn’t the first time they have been hit with liens against their properties.

Kyle and Mauricio were hit with a $13,707.47 state tax lien in April 2022 for unpaid taxes from 2020. They paid off the debut in July 2022. However, months later, in December 2022, Mauricio’s UMRO Realty Corp, which operates as The Agency, was slapped with more tax liens in the amounts of $16,777.97, $3,454.41, $2,120.67, and $269.47.

The exes own numerous properties together beyond their Encino mansion. In September 2022, they purchased a $13.6 million vacation home in Aspen, Colo., and they also have another vacation home in La Quinta, Calif., worth $2.35 million.

Kyle and Mauricio announced their separation in July 2023. The ex-RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 16. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

They’re both millionaires . Probably an oversight

More wealthy HW's sponging off the tax payers. If the state has gotten to the point of filing a tax lien, that means they have already sent several reminder then warning letters concerning the tax debt. And they would have sent them for each of the tax liens filed. With as wealthy as these two are, expecting to get public services when they ignore their tax obligations is unacceptable but clearly shows how entitled they think they are.

This one is about as laughable as the Todd's "lien" against (the now defunct) PUMP. Newsflash: Even the VERY rich are not into getting ripped off (no matter how small the amount), and will fight against injustice.

Exactly! I certainly wouldn't be in a hurry to pay the corrupt state of CA a parking lot penny. FKH
