RHOC: Gina Accuses Jennifer of Being a Squatter Amid Complicated Financial Situation

RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter and Jennifer Pedranti confront co-star Shannon Beador at pumpkin carving event

On Thursday’s episode of RHOC, Gina Kirschenheiter accused Jennifer Pedranti of being a squatter as she opened up about her complicated financial situation.

During episode 3 of season 18, Jennifer Pedranti opened up about her complex financial situation.

“I’m learning. I had no access to anything [financial],” Jennifer explained while sitting down with the rest of the RHOC cast after playing a flag football game. “I want to stand on my own two feet. I don’t want to not know finances. I don’t want my car not being paid.”

In her RHOC confessional, Jennifer expanded on her financial situation.

Jennifer Pedranti shocked over fight with Tamra Judge on RHOC

“It’s scary to be 46 and have to figure out how to do things that other people learn in their 20s,” she said. “I’ve never had a credit card in my name, and I never knew what fear was, stress was. This is a new spot for me.”

She then told the group that her boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, agreed to absorb her $24,000 debt.

“You need to make changes so that you’re in the driver’s seat,” Gina Kirschenheirter said, to which Jennifer agreed: “If something were to happen with Ryan, I literally am homeless, and I don’t have a car.”

Gina then called out Jennifer Pedranti for being a squatter after it was revealed that Jennifer was unable to pay rent on a house that Gina found for her and was evicted.

“Gina got me in the house. My ex-husband was traveling at the time because we nest, and so Gina was just vouching. She pulled all the tricks out of her sleeve that she needed to, and it was perfect. Come four months, and I’m living there; it’s a great home for the kids and me, but my ex is going through something,” Jennifer explained before noting that her ex-husband always paid the bills and rent, so she was unaware there was an issue.

Gina Kirschenheiter gets into a heated fight with the RHOC newbie.

“People just don’t understand my life at that time, and I don’t know that I need people to understand it. At the time, I had one debit card. When I needed gas, I would text my ex, and he’d move money. If I needed groceries, I would text, and he would move money. So for people to say, ‘Why didn’t you pay your damn rent?’ I mean, my ex was going through something, and I don’t communicate with him.”

While Gina was sympathetic to Jennifer’s situation, she was upset that Jennifer’s failure to pay rent made her look bad professionally.

“I put someone in a home that wasn’t paying their bills. I have a very good relationship with this agent, and this woman won’t even return my calls,” the 40-year-old RHOC star said before accusing Jennifer of squatting in her rental home. “You were squatting until you got asked to leave.”

Jennifer apologized and insisted that she never meant to hurt Gina and did her best to remedy the unpaid rent issue when she realized what was going on.

“And Gina says she felt like when rent was not being paid, she feels like I was ruining her career.  I’m not a woman that would take out another woman’s career, so that was surprising,” Jennifer said.

Gina is a user. She doesn’t need Travis anymore so is ready to move on. Travis would be smart to run as fast as he can.

Gina is comparing her life to Jenn's and that just doesn't work. Gina is strong.Jenn is not. Gina is takes everything seriously. Jenn does not. Gina downsized during her divorce. Jenn did not., etc., etc. Gina is a go getting survivor. Jenn might not be. And I don't even like Gina.

Jen is a tough egg to crack. My first impulse would be to call her brazen and shameless (for airing her dirty laundry on international television), but then she throws us a curve ball and pours on the remorse, culpability, and accountability. While her situation is becoming more rare (for women), it's still not really unique, and no matter how you cut it, she has obviously made some very bad decisions. She can learn how to balance an account, but I think learning how to live within her means is going to be a challenge.

Exactly! Uppity broads consider her kind a relic and an embarrassment but throw a pebble out of the back door of pretty much any privileged abode and I defy you not to hit one like Jen. People (sorry not sorry but ESPECIALLY women) LOVE to judge from their gold plated perches within their glass houses. Oh yes they do, but their songs of self righteousness will be silenced and but good when it’s time for THEIR judgment. Trust that! And for any tail feathers I’ve ruffled… https://media3.giphy.com/media/44EvH2sc7O06I/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

Jen just needs to be more responsible with her children. She's dragging them through a lot including Reality Tv. That guy she moved in with is pretty irresponsible and now they're all on TV.

True, however, but for the grace of God go any one of us trying to navigate a difficult situation that may be well above our pay grade even if those who claim to know better say it shouldn’t be. I’m not saying she isn’t making some terrible mistakes and questionable choices. She is. And she’s acknowledged some (not all but some) of it with quite admirable humility. So, credit where credit is due. All I’m saying is, SOME mercy, SOME compassion is in order because the mercy we give is the mercy we will receive when we all face the ultimate judgment. And we will. In between that, there’s nothing stopping the Almighty from using some cosmic justice to remind us of that (aka karma). IJS. So, let those without sin cast the first stone…cuz we ALL live and learn.

I think since she was dragged last season by Tamra and this season by Gina she deserves a little bit of empathy. Isn't her ex also responsible for her money woes?
ontoiran July 28, 2024 - 11:09 am
She’s not based in reality. Her parents pay her bills, she has more kids than she can take care of, she cares more about how she looks than paying the rent. Ryan isn’t going to stick around long term, If it weren’t for the show he would not be in her life. She’s a train wreck, it’s sad to watch.

This is how I feel too.

.... or .... one could argue that appearing on the show is a means to the end of her financial woes (like Bethenny did). Of course that doesn't mean that we (and the cast) can't question her method. I guess it remains to be seen if she's successful. It's human nature to root for the underdog.
Zap It July 26, 2024 - 2:00 pm
Jenn is out of line. I really liked her last season but to be evicted after not paying a cent in rent speaks volumes about who she is. But she can afford glam and clothes. No one can be as stupid as she is claiming to be. And to now move your children in with a guy who is unemployed and who's character is questionable is just irresponsible. No respect for this lady. She's 46 years old, not a kid. And I thinks she knew exactly what she was doing. Gina had every right to be furious with her.
ScrappieONE July 26, 2024 - 1:23 pm
I'm sorry but I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for Jenn. She claims she doesn't want to be depended on anyone anymore but has moved in with Ryan with her kids, had Ryan take over her Range Rover so she doesn't have to take responsibility for the payments and still relies on her parents to bail her out. She did do Gina wrong and it's time for Jenn to start taking responsibility and grown up. It must be nice to be 46 yo and never experienced life stresses and hardships, she's always been taken care of by someone else but then again when this happens you end up clueless, like Jenn
macaroni July 26, 2024 - 11:47 pm
No need to be sorry

Speaking as a R/E myself, Gina entire tirade was all bullshit ... and she (and Emily) obviously don't even know what a squatter is. The mean girl thing isn't a good look on either of them. Of oucrse this isn't to say that Jen isn't a total moron, but at least she's owning her sh.
holy cannoli July 26, 2024 - 6:26 pm
Thank you!
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 27, 2024 - 4:16 pm
Gina has a lot to learn. We as R/E agents are not financial consultants who should ever involve themselves in a client's personal finances. We (as smart agents) require an approval letter for proof of credit/funds and nothing more ... that way we avoid the liability. We're also not lawyers who give legal advice, and we're certainly not "psychics" who should ever predict what a great "investment" a property is. I have a feeling Gina is going to learn all these lessons the hard way.
Champagne Hangover July 28, 2024 - 10:27 am
Kinda like she did with her DUI. IJS. That said, the DUI humbled her and, credit where credit is due, she softened her position on Jen, but will that transcend social graces to what you are saying? Ie., will it spark the necessary RE epiphany? I’ll put it this way: I hope she has guidance. She’s halfway there showing she’s capable of humility or at least the optics of it. So…????
macaroni July 26, 2024 - 11:50 pm
I think Gina was just making a point. Jen didn't pay her rent at all which makes her sorta a squatter. Well at least if from the owner's point of view.
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 27, 2024 - 3:37 pm
A deadbeat yes, but squatters illegally break into vacant properties and then use the (liberal) policies of that jurisdiction to battle the owners. Some Dems in congress are actually trying to make it legal for the ILLegals to be housed in said vacant properties throughout the country (just not in their own neighborhoods of course).
Champagne Hangover July 28, 2024 - 10:18 am
Yep. ??

Or stay for months and months without paying their landlords - at least according to the All Knowing Judge Judy.
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 29, 2024 - 2:26 pm
I used to like her, but dumped her for Marilyn Milian (right around the 2020 steal).
LiberalMediaIsCorrupt July 30, 2024 - 3:36 pm
I never heard of her. I just looked her up. I will give her a try. I am watching the OLD Judge Judy's that our local still shows.
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 30, 2024 - 4:06 pm
OMG really? MM is a fiery Latina based out of Florida (and Conservative). She hosted People's Court for the last 22 yrs (22 seasons). Now she has an all new show on some random cable channel Justice for the People with Judge Milian ... IMO, sort of meh~. We stick with the thousands of People's Court reruns.
LiberalMediaIsCorrupt July 30, 2024 - 4:26 pm
Oh - I know who she is! I've seen People's Court with her! Do you remember Judge Wapner!!! My mom loved Judge Judy and we used to talk about the show. My mom would say (in Italian) Judge Judy was mad today. LOL
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 30, 2024 - 5:12 pm
I was never a huge JJ fan; I tired of the format (and her shtick) rather quickly, and her bashing Trump sealed the deal. Wapner is going WAY back! I don't remember really watching it.
LiberalMediaIsCorrupt July 30, 2024 - 10:26 pm
And in the late 60s there was another court show. I can't remember the judge's name, but one time a guy came in and had his sunglasses on top of his head and the judge said "Do you have on eyes on top of your head?" I still remember that. He was a REALLY MEAN JUDGE. JJ is kind of out of the "working class" realm. She can't believe people have collision insurance on cars more than 8 years old! But I like that she holds women as accountable as she does men.
Enigma Wrapped in a Miracle July 31, 2024 - 2:46 pm
Recently, I foolishly took the advice of my insurance AmFam agent who suggested I take the "collision" off my car (which was almost 10 yrs. old). Less than one month later, a drunk asylum seeker illegal alien ran a stop sign (2 blocks from my home) and totaled my SUV (which was low-miles and mint). We later found the truck he was driving was stolen. As the lady cop at the scene told me ... "Dude, you're fcked". Man was she right.
LiberalMediaIsCorrupt July 31, 2024 - 5:28 pm
That sucks. I have it on all my vehicles. I even have it on the stuff that is parked with storage insurance, but not liability.
Steve July 26, 2024 - 3:32 pm
Why do women, or men for that matter, allow someone else so much control over their financial situation? She had to wait for him to move money so she could go grocery shopping? Why would she put up with that level of control over her?
Nancy Fancy July 26, 2024 - 7:46 pm
I would never put up with that. Before marriage I had a good job and would not marry anyone with at least my equal pay. I worked too hard to get where I was for a man.
macaroni July 26, 2024 - 11:45 pm
I agree. It was hard to watch.
LiberalMediaIsCorrupt July 28, 2024 - 8:42 pm
Sometimes they just relinquish control to their partner. I know a couple where one of the spouse's has blown almost every penny they had on his "girlfriend" on the internet. It is like watching a Dr. Phil episode about on line scammers.
PjC July 26, 2024 - 2:54 pm
Empathy would be nice, but this is HWs. . .Pay your bills, Jen. Grow up, the example for your children.
Dulcette July 26, 2024 - 11:57 am
Gina is being very cruel. This story for Gina is all about a story line for her. To tear Jen down as she is is disgusting and she only has to go back a few years in her own life. I hope it's just all for the show, because it makes Gina very ugly. And, is she kicking out Travis NOW, because she can finally afford to do so? Did he help pave (pay) her way to this success and now feels some financial freedom. I use to like Gina, but a side of her is showing more often.
michers July 26, 2024 - 10:19 am
Why are she and Emily still here ? These two are mean girls . I’m glad jen questioned Emily being judgy . Not a good deflection tactic either Gina- you’re unprofessional , trashing clients , because you chose to kick Travis out ? Make it make sense . I hope jen gets much success her way and can get her crap together especially to shut these clowns up . Good luck jen !!
macaroni July 26, 2024 - 11:51 pm
Okay, good luck to Jen but isn't the Jen and Travis issues two different issues?
michers July 27, 2024 - 1:02 pm
Yes - that’s why I’m like why is she boo hoo right now about her man moving because she asked him to lol?? After being unprofessional and breaching confidentiality in re to jen. ?!?! She deflected

Gina get of your cross we need the wood

She’s a clown. She had Matt’s money still paying for shit even her casita. Her hair looked like shit even before her divorce as did her wardrobe

What exactly is a casita?
