Melissa Gorga reveals she is “excited” about the possibility of “fresh faces” joining the RHONJ amid the rumored casting refresh for season 15.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga tells Page Six that she is looking forward to some “fresh faces” joining the season 15 cast of the Garden State Housewives franchise.
“Listen, I’m excited for what’s to come. I think we are due for some type of change. I don’t know what kind of change, but I am excited to see what happens. I am excited to see what’s next and where this show goes from here,” Melissa Gorga said.
However, the longtime Housewife admits she hasn’t heard anything about Bravo’s plans for season 15.
“My guess is as good as yours,” she said.
Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, recently shared their thoughts on the rumored RHONJ reboot.
“It’s definitely a long time and nostalgic for us and something that we’ve been doing forever,” Melissa said on her On Display podcast before asking Joe his thoughts on the possible reboot.
Joe said, “We put a lot of time and effort. We dedicated over a decade of our lives to this show, and it would be sad, right? Wouldn’t it be? It would be a little sad. It is what it is, and you know, whatever happens, happens. We’ll just have to move on, and when one door closes, another one opens, and we’ll just figure it out, right?”
“Either way, I think that…we’ve shown a lot of our lives, and I’m happy to continue showing it, and I’m also happy with the memories that we made,” Melissa added. “So I feel like we’ll be at peace either way.”
Bravo has yet to confirm its plans to reboot the Garden State Housewives franchise. However, Andy Cohen has continuously teased that changes are coming for season 15.
“We haven’t even started talking about next season. We want this one to end. We’re gonna let it sit, and then we will get into it,” Andy explained on a recent episode of Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live. “We’re gonna figure something out. We’re gonna figure something out. We are all on the same page about that.”
The Garden State Housewives franchise currently stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fessler.
