‘Irreparably Divided’ RHONJ Cast Films S14 Reunion Alternative

On Monday, July 15, “the irreparably divided” cast of RHONJ came together at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, N.J., to film a very different type of sit down for the season 14 reunion, per Variety.

Instead of a reunion, the RHONJ cast engaged in a watch party, where they convened to watch the season 14 finale episode. Due to the toxicity among the women, this is likely to be the cast’s last gathering before Bravo reboots the franchise.

Since season 14 of RHONJ premiered in May, Andy Cohen has made it clear that the New Jersey Housewives franchise will be undergoing some major changes ahead of season 15. The current season is set to conclude on Sunday, August 4.

At the sitdown, the two divided groups of RHONJ viewed the finale episode in separate rooms.

Feuding sister-in-laws Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga were NOT in the same room, and neither were co-stars Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral, who got into a physical altercation while filming season 14.

Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fessler were in one room, while Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, and Jackie Goldschneider were in another room.

Dolores Catania continued to play Switzerland bounded between the two rooms.

There is obviously genuine disdain between certain cast members, but I would wager that (more than) half of the drama on RHONH is scripted "exaggerated". No resolutions, long pause like VPR, Retool like next RHOA. What a complete mess. Fans on both sides gonna lose it. Funny and sad in all ways. Let's see how each HW survive without BRAVO. Don't think it's going to be only two cast cut now tho. And Jen F out now too. Which side is going to make the Final Cut. . .Is anyone's guess. I only see three HWs making it to next season (Teresa, Jen A and Dolores more likely).

Jen A is a complete moron, she needs to be fired, what exactly does Dolo bring? Nothing! IF Bravo keeps Teresa with all her baggage and disruptive behavior, NJ won’t last. There’s a reason ppl aren’t watching, the few diehards that cruise the blogs to defend her don’t count they’re probably paid by some hairdressers cousins PR team of one. The constant fighting is the only thing NJ has going, obviously not what the “ fans” want. FJB

Not saying I like any of the above, but Teresa does make the show and gets the ratings; Jen A is awful true, but looks like BRAVO has muzzled that dog and she works with both sides; Dolores is the flip flopper and been award a Traitors spot (she sounds a safe pick to stay). My only reasons for possible survivors. They are definitely not liked but these three bring more to the show and could in a reBoot too. RHONJ has to move forward and the others don't bring any movement. (LOL. FJB has nothing to do with this realty series website. But nice try to try to incite hate. Missed your target here, but if you take you bandaid out of your ears, then maybe you'd hear BOTH sides better. Bye Brandon.

What ratings? The shows ratings are at an all time low which means Teresa isn't bringing in the ratings anymore so she's expendable. I'm not sure they'll drop her though. I think they'll probably keep delaying production long enough thinking that if she thinks she's out of a job she'll try and make amends with Joe and Melissa and then they'll rebuild the show around the three of them. If she continues to refuse to at least speak to them and be civil during filming they will most likely either clean house by firing everybody and starting over or just cancelling the show altogether and move on to another city. For what's it's worth I also think they'll keep both Dolores and Marge. Bravo just recently cast both of them in a new spinoff of Girls Trip called Housewives On The Island. That's pretty much a clue that they're happy with the both of them.

Agreed on all your points, facts. BRAVOs next contract will read "will film and interact with all parties on the cast". It's funny how they all say they will do what BRAVO wants. . . .But ALL them HWs on RHONJ just DON'T DO IT?? Teresa and Melissa will sign it or kick rocks (BRAVO will probably ask for a price reduction too, due to ratings falling). BUT, MY INTEREST was peak with HW On The Island. . .My cup is empty, so please spill some more tea on this new topic. The old rehash of stories is just getting so tired. I hope they show UGT 6 (Morocco Mess) and another NY Legacy soon :)

Oh I definitely agree about a pay cut for the ones that stay. The show, like Atlanta, has too many long time highly paid cast members for the amount of ratings it's pulling in these days. They'll all get reduced rates in their next contract if they continue the show. The Housewives On The Island is a new Girls Trip spinoff that is set to film early this fall although it's unclear whether it's destined for Bravo, Peacock or both. They're filming in Zanzibar. Casting consisting of Adriana, Julia, Meredith, Lisa, Margaret, Dolores, Emily and Shannon. There's also another Girls Trip spinoff called Housewives At The Manor which is set at Blue Stone Manor.

Dolores is one of Tre's oldest friends and she accepts that Dolores speaks to and socializes with everyone. She never tells her to not be friends with any of the ladies just because Tre isn't. Meanwhile, Marge insists that any of her friends toe the line for Marge. Rachel demands her friends toe the line. Danielle can't resist insulting Jen A to her face rather than try to lower the temperature for a group event. Melissa says she wants to bury the hatchet with Jen A, yet cant stop bad mouthing her for one day. Jen A expects others to fight her battles with her or she feels they're disloyal It's easy for me to see who the problems are, so why can't Andy?

Dolores is one of Teresa's oldest friends yet Teresa purposely did not invite her to her engagement party because Dina didn't want her there. Dolores is one of Teresa's oldest friends yet Teresa didn't ask her to be a bridesmaid at her wedding and then turned around and asked her literally days before the actual wedding because Dina decided she didn't want to be in the wedding. If that's the way you treat your oldest and dearest friends it certainly sends signals as to how little you value the friendship. Of course, Dolores is best friends with Caroline Manzo who is Teresa's sworn enemy so how close could she and Dolores really be?

I think Tre knows not to trust Dolores. But it's just that Tre doesn't make a big deal out of it which is what I think people are pointing out. Dolores was in Tre's wedding but that keeps the peace on the show and makes good TV. If the show ends tomorrow, guaranteed Teresa will have very little to do with Dolores again.

yeah I think it’s understood that Dina and Dolores don’t want to be in the same room ever, no matter what, and Tre respects that. Obviously she wanted Dina there more than Dolores, and Dolores didn’t feel the need to have a stroke over it. She knows it’s the way she wants it too, if Dina was going to be there. Once Dina bowed out (and I’d love to hear the real reason why) Dolores doesn’t hold it against Teresa. She says she’s Switzerland and she holds to that by not creating drama where there’s no need. Tre and Dolo get one another, and don’t let petty sh*t get in their way.

Thanks for the clarification. Frankie and her daughter don't really bother me and her mom is sweet but Dolores hasn't been honest on this show and most of the other ladies have really put themselves out there. But I get the point.
