On Sunday's episode of WWHL, [Andy Cohen](https://allabouttrh.com/category/wwhl/andy-cohen/) asked Kathy Wakile about the news that she and her husband, Rich Wakile, are building a house near Melissa and[Joe Gorga](https://allabouttrh.com/2024/04/15/rhonj-joe-gorga-teresa-credit/). ***"Ya'll are building a house by Melissa's new house, right?"*** Andy asked, to which the RHONJ alum replied, ***"Yeah, Melissa Way. Apparently, she owns the street. "*** Kathy then added, ***"I had my eye on that house forever," ***clarifying that the Gorgas played no role in their decision to purchase the property. RHONJ star [Jennifer Aydin](https://allabouttrh.com/category/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/jennifer-aydin/), who was also a guest on WWHL, then asked Kathy, ***"She said she wants to get back together. What do you think about that?"*** ***"It's very convenient,"*** Kathy said. > [View this post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9bNWDzMtGZ/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading)[A post shared by All About TRH (@allabouttrh)](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9bNWDzMtGZ/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) Melissa Gorga [recently confirmed that Kathy and Rich purchased a property](https://allabouttrh.com/2024/06/25/melissa-gorga-kathy-rich-wakile/) on the same street as her Franklin Lakes home. ***“Her and Richie just bought the lot on my street, across the street from me, and they are building a house diagonal from me across the street on my street. Literally,” ***[Melissa Gorga](https://allabouttrh.com/category/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/melissa-gorga/) said on[ SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKcpGFtA2jM) She also admitted that she hoped this could lead to a reconciliation between her husband and his cousin. ***“I secretly hope like Joe and Kathy are walking down the street one day and bump into each other,”*** Melissa told Jeff, noting that Kathy is a ***“good”*** person. ***“I do think that [Joe] regrets, you know, he did what he had to do at the time to back his sister up and do what he had to do. But I really think he enjoyed Kathy.”*** ![RHONJ alums Kathy and Rich Wakile shades Joe and Melissa Gorga](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/D2B9C336-C845-4363-9074-EE636EF16974.jpg)RHONJ alums Kathy and Rich Wakile shades Joe and Melissa Gorga [The Gorgas](https://allabouttrh.com/2024/06/22/jacqueline-laurita-teresa-giudice/) and the Wakiles have been estranged since [Teresa Giudice](https://allabouttrh.com/category/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/teresa-giudice/) cut Kathy out of her life for good during season 7 of RHONJ. Kathy left the franchise afterward and has not returned since. ## AllAboutTRH was the FIRST to reveal that Kathy and Rich Wakile would be neighbors with Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe Gorga, in March 2023. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, [Kathy and Rich Wakile](https://allabouttrh.com/category/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/kathy-wakile/) revealed they bought a property in [Franklin Lakes, New Jersey](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Lakes,_New_Jersey), to build their next house. This news came months after the RHONJ alums [sold their previous Franklin Lakes home](https://allabouttrh.com/2022/12/01/photos-rhonj-alums-kathy-and-rich-wakile-sell-franklin-lakes-home-for-3-65m/). The two sold their longtime Franklin Lakes mansion in November 2022 for $3.65M after building the 7,529 sq ft home in 2016. At the time, *AllAboutTRH* was interested in learning more about Kathy and Rich’s new home, so we did a little digging and found some very interesting tea. Kathy and Rich’s new home is just doors from [Melissa and Joe Gorga](https://allabouttrh.com/category/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/melissa-gorga/)‘s new home. In February, the Wakiles purchased 267 Indian Trail Dr in Franklin Lakes for $2.6M, while the Gorgas purchased their property, located at 300 Indian Trail Dr in April of 2021 for $950k. The Gorgas knocked down the house on the property and [built their dream home](https://allabouttrh.com/2023/03/18/rhonjs-melissa-gorga-remodeling-new-home-again-after-multiple-interior-designers-review-the-hideous-home-describing-it-as-a-mess/) from the ground up. After nearly two years of building, the couple moved into their new home in late 2022. ![Wakiles plan to do something similar except it’s unclear if there was an existing home on the land they purchased.](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/AEE6ED04-1583-4BE0-B6AB-6AB24E7464D2-1055x1200.jpeg)Wakiles plans to do something similar, except it’s unclear if there was an existing home on the land they purchased. ![AllAboutTRH](https://allabouttrh.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/656CFB82-1DD9-4457-A81D-318D258ECC06-990x1200.jpeg)AllAboutTRH [Real Housewives of New Jersey](https://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey) airs on Sundays at 8 pm.
