Andy Cohen Reveals He And Teresa Giudice Hashed Things Out After She Told Him She Isn’t Leaving RHONJ

On a recent episode of her new podcast, Teresa Giudice shares how she initially perceived Andy Cohen’s feelings toward her while insisting that RHONJ is “actually real.” 

On the June 10 episode of Turning the Tables, Teresa Giudice confessed that she thought Andy Cohen hated her during her early seasons of RHONJ.

“He hates me. He always asks me the hardest questions, and I’m like, ‘He doesn’t ask anybody else these questions… I feel like he drills me,’” she shared.

Teresa admits that she later realized that the Watch What Happens Live host was just “doing his job.”

“I didn’t get it at first, and I didn’t understand it. It took a while for me to understand it. I was very sensitive about it,” she noted.

Elsewhere in the episode, Teresa addressed the realness of reality TV, insisting that what fans see from her on the Real Housewives of New Jersey is authentic, but that doesn’t mean everyone on Bravo is being real.

“What you see on the show is actually real. What you see people put out there, like lies, obviously that’s not real. That’s up to you guys to decide from watching the show. And the history that you have with all of us to decide who’s being real and who’s not being real… I’m as real as they come,” she stated. “I don’t know how to be any other way. I only know how to be authentic.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.

Interesting tidbit ... Melissa just told Jeff Lewis that the Wakiles bought the lake front lot across the street from them (which I assume just bought the Gorgas another season). The plot thickens! BTW, does anyone remember what beef Joe has with his cousin?

Who is he kidding. I remember how regularly he got called out by the fans at the time for the way that he treated Teresa. Before she even said her opinion on the matter Andy had to make several statements to the audience on WWHL that he really does like her. He used to make her the butt end of jokes and mock her choice of vocabulary all the time.

You know Teresa annoys the sh out of Andy (he's very transparent that way), but it's a well known fact that they are very tight. The problem for Teresa is that he's also very tight with the Gorgas. I believe certain HW's are exempt from being let go, and Teresa and Melissa are two of them. Kyle comes to mind as well.

Andy did go harder on Teresa back then, I actually thought he didn't like her either. That relationship has evolved, glad they have some degree of decency between them now.

Haha nice excuse. What context? Either everything she does on the show is real or it's not, can't have it both ways and carve exceptions to fit your narrative. And Teresa's perception of things has no basis in reality.

Anyone can see she’s being literal in one statement and figurative in the other. Obviously, Teresa has challenges expressing herself. One minute you’re holding her responsible for literally everything she states and the next you’re calling her dumb and can’t speak a sentence. Which one is it? The one who’s no being inconsistent is you.

You're making excuses for a 50 year old woman who is unable to communicate a cogent thought. And there was no inconsistency in what I wrote. She's trying to convince people everything she does on the show is real but then admits to a fake scene. Doubt she understands the difference between literal and figurative so not buying your attempt to excuse that. And her perception that Andy asks her tougher questions is not based in reality, it's her victim complex where everyone is looking to take her down.

Exactly my point. You’re saying she’s not capable of rational thoughts while simultaneously holding her responsible for every one. Which is it? Also, isn’t necessary for someone to know the word donut to say it’s sweet. So whether or not she knows the term literal, which she does, doesn’t mean she can’t use its definition. And how did Andy pop into this conversation? Nonetheless, try being on a show for fifteen years where everyone picks a fight with you and see how it makes you feel. Enough people validated her perception.

Well obviously we'll never agree. Because I said she is incapable of communicating intelligently I can't hold her to her word? Her inablility to effectively communicate causes her a lot of problems and unfortunately for her a lot of this is recorded.

I think AC always focused on Teresa because he knew she was the one who brought in the viewers. She still does. BTW, hope these ladies started applying sunscreen now that they're older and wiser. ?

Podcast about show being real was on June 10th. Podcast on paying cash scene being fake was on June 20.
