The Valley‘s Jax Taylor set the record straight on his relationship status with 32-year-old model Paige Woolen after they were spotted grabbing lunch in Los Angeles over the weekend.
“I am not dating anyone, and I wish you all knew the full story of this situation,” Jax Taylor wrote on Twitter Thursday. “It’s (sic) not what you think.”
Some fans weren’t convinced the Vanderpump Rules alum and Paige Woolen were only friends. One fan commented, “You’re not dating, but are you smashing?”
“You have to know it was not a good look to be out and about like that while going through a separation,” another wrote.
“Spill the beans then,” a third added.
Others were relieved to hear that Jax Taylor may be still working on mending his relationship with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
“Happy to hear this bc I’ve been rooting for you and Brittany,” one supporter wrote.
“Go get your girl Jax! Brit is your soulmate and your family,” a second added.
On Saturday, Jax Taylor and the 32-year-old model were photographed at Granville Cafe in Los Angeles for a three-hour lunch date.
The two showed no signs of PDA as they were photographed arriving and leaving their lunch date. Jax Taylor kept it casual in black skinny jeans, a black tee, a denim long-sleeve shirt, a black baseball cap, and white sneakers. Woolen, on the other hand, rocked a skintight black bodysuit and white sneakers.
After lunch, the two headed to the Bravo star’s sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, before parting ways.
The outing was just one day after the 44-year-old was spotted getting cozy with a mystery woman at The Oaks Tavern in Sherman Oaks, California.
This latest development in Jax and Brittany’s fractured relationship comes almost four months after their separation after five years of marriage.
On February 29, Brittany Cartwright announced that she and Jax were “taking time apart.” The Vanderpump Rules alum announced the news on her and Jax’s podcast When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany.
“Yes, marriages in general are very hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” the Kentucky native said in the episode. “Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”
Jax and Brittany met in 2015 at the Gold Spike Lounge in Las Vegas. The Kentucky native quickly moved to Los Angeles to be with Jax and first appeared on season 4 of Vanderpump Rules. By 2016, Brittany had landed a job at SUR and became an official VPR cast member.
After some ups and downs in their relationship, Jax proposed in June 2018, and the couple said ‘I do’ a little more than a year later, in 2019.
They welcomed their son, Cruz, in April 2021.
The Valley airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
