Melissa Gorga Denies Staging Run-In With Joe Giudice in the Bahamas; Defends Pre-Reunion Meeting at Margaret Josephs’ House Ahead of S13 Showdown

Melissa Gorga is denying some of Teresa Giudice’s bold claims about her, her husband, and several other members of the RHONJ cast.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Melissa Gorga addressed some recent accusations made against her and other members of the RHONJ cast by Teresa Giudice.

To start, Melissa denies that Joe Gorga’s reunion with Joe Giudice in the Bahamas was “opportunistic” and “staged,” calling Teresa’s claims “ridiculous.”

“We were really just on a vacation with our friends, and I actually think he knew we were. We were in the same casino at the same time. We literally just ran into him, so I think anything to try to spin something that was a positive or that we were friendly with him at the time,” she explained. “It was a very nice encounter between the two guys, there’s always a spin to make it like somebody’s evil and doing something wrong. But it was the most innocent thing there could be.”

Meanwhile, Melissa also took issue with Teresa swearing on her daughters that Louie Ruelas didn’t hire a PI to investigate the RHONJ cast.

“I thought that was ridiculous,” she stated.

She also defended the decision for part of the RHONJ cast to meet ahead of the season 13 reunion to discuss their united game plan.

As we learned in the RHONJ season 14 premiere, Margaret Josephs invited the Gorgas, Jennifer Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider, and the Fudas to her home ahead of the season 13 reunion to allegedly plot a takedown of Louie Ruelas.

Jennifer Fessler, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Carbral, and Brittany Mattessich host RHONJ cast “family dinner.”

“We were all being investigated by a PI. That was a first. I’ve been on this show for a very long time. We were being investigated at the time. First of all, it’s a meeting of the minds. It’s not like a, ‘We’re gonna come and attack.’ [It’s the norm] everywhere. You think they don’t meet and say, ‘What are we gonna do,’ with attorneys involved. At least we just ordered sushi and opened a bottle of wine,” Melissa noted.

RHONJ airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.

First of all, the girl is gorgeous and has a banging body, I’ll give her that. But what a cuckoo bird! She says she thinks it’s disgusting that Tre swore on her kids. I think it’s disgusting that Tre has to go that far to get her brother and sister in law to believe she’s telling them the truth. As far as the pre-reunion meeting, meh, so what. I think what made this one a little different was that the hubbies were there too. Before I went to my high school reunions I met up with my girlfriends, to go thru out yearbook to see who we wanted to see and talk to, but our hubbies were not in on those meetings lol. Or with us at the reunions lol. As far as the meeting in the Bahamas-100% the Gorgas made that happen. For the clicks. And to stick it up Tre’s a**. Those two, always trying to extend an olive branch?

Exactly! I am so glad that Gia called them out and I’m glad that Joe Giudice kept his cool and didn’t give Princess that long overdue ass beating. He’s trying to get back in the states to be with his family and he knows an assault charge would kill that so I’m glad the man has his priorities straight. I think getting away from the show was good for him.

I know the FameWhorgas are desperate but I don’t think they’re desperate enough for attention from Joe Giudice to fly out to a whole nother country to see him. They simply took advantage of the already planned vacation to get some headlines out of it. Gia was spot on when she called her uncle an opportunist. Teresa and Jacqueline had reunited a couple weeks earlier. The FameWhorgas already had the vacation booked and got the idea to seek out Joe Giudice to get the same attention that Teresa got. The city where Joe lives is the new trendy hotspot in the Bahamas and the FameWhorgas knew Joe hung out at that casino regularly. They had an opportunity and took it. Of course they’re going to lie about it because accountability is a foreign concept to them.

After Juicy went away, Joey & Melissa continued to bash him and blamed him for everything under the sun. So, yes posting pictures on SM seemed fake & contrived ; even his nieces thought it was fake and a storyline for the next season.

Dolores has also said when asked on various talk shows during this years press tour that not only did they have a meeting but that she doesn't consider it any big deal because Teresa and Jennifer do it every year so there's that.

No, but you can search the internet for it if you want. I know she said it on WWHL She said it happens all the time before every reunion. She said she herself never attends because she doesn't like to plan ahead what she's going to say but that they have those meetings every year and that Teresa and Jennifer especially enjoy getting together and planning what they are going to say. She also mentioned it on at least one of the other daytime shows she was on.
