Melissa Gorga Says Dolores Catania Gets Away With Murder on RHONJ; Calls Jackie G “Disappointing”

RHONJ star Melissa Gorga admits she has reached out to check on niece Milania Giudice following her recent car accident.

On Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Melissa Gorga threw some shade at several of her RHONJ co-stars for their behavior throughout season 14.

While it’s not surprising to hear Melissa Gorga talk poorly about her estranged sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, it was quite surprising to hear her badmouth Dolores Catania and Jackie Goldschneider.

To start, Melissa addressed her friendship status with Jackie.

The 44-year-old confirms that she and Jackie haven’t spoken in a long time.

“It’s surprising and disappointing I feel like she’s doing it all for the wrong reasons so that’s why it’s hard to take it all in with her,” Melissa explained. “I just think that she’s picking a fight to kind of, I don’t know if she wants her full-time spot back or what it is, but I feel like she really wanted to ruffle feathers, and it’s so out of character for her because I do know her and I’ve always respected her, I’ve always liked her a lot.”

Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga aren’t thrilled with Jackie Goldschneider’s budding friendship with RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice.

“She didn’t do it the right way if you ask me,” Melissa said of Jackie’s decision to befriend Teresa Giudice while filming season 14 of RHONJ.

Melissa also noted that the biggest surprise of season 14 is the fallout between Jackie and Margaret Josephs.

“I would say the most surprising thing would be that Jackie and Margaret are no longer friends, and they’re not just not friends, they‘re like enemies,” she explained.

Turning her sights to Dolores, Melissa was asked if she is surprised by how Dolores is able to stay neutral among all the drama.

The mom of three admits she’s not sure how Dolores gets away with being Switzerland and remaining friends with all the ladies in the cast.

“I love Dolores. I’ve known her since before [RHONJ] … She gets away with murder,” Melissa said. “I think we all truly love her, and she’s very good at hearing everyone’s side without totally taking a side. She’s mastered it.”

RHONJ airs on Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.

I read an article on some tabloid website (don’t remember the name but it was a tabloid so I don’t know how true it is) but it said an inside source “claimed” that Dina and Dolores don’t talk anymore because Dina overheard Dolores talking shit on the phone about the Manzos when Dina was still married to Tommy. Allegedly, Dina overheard her saying that the Manzos were lowlifes and no good while they were on a vacation that Tommy paid for. So during season 8 when Danielle accused Dolores of talking shit about Teresa and calling her greedy, I definitely believe she said SOMETHING to Danielle. She plays both sides because she wants to stay on the show, but I don’t think she needs to kiss Caroline’s ass to do it. *Also, Dolores has been friends with many people that Teresa does not or used to not get along with: Caroline, Kathy, Jacqueline, Kim D., etc. If Teresa had a problem with Dolores being friends with them, why did she put Dolores in her wedding? If Teresa wasn’t going to fake it by putting Messy in the wedding, she wouldn’t fake it by putting Dolores in.

This is a thought that I have from yesterday. If Melissa wants to give credit to Danielle for starting the show, then Melissa needs to give credit to Teresa for her getting on the show.

Of course Jackie wants her full time spot back Melissa...duh. And she's enemies with Margaret because Margaret is a bitch. I don't know how Dolores got away with the Switzerland BS for so many years either. I use to like her but the letter she wrote on behalf of Dina's ex husband was really uncool. Sort of tells you who she really is.

I don't know why people keep saying they're surprised about Dolores writing a letter on Tommy's behalf. People don't factor in the fact that she's one of Caroline's best friends, she's much closer to her than she is Teresa or Dina. Even back on the early seasons when she appeared as a background player she was always identified as Caroline's best friend and she appeared on several episodes of Manzo'd With Children in that capacity. Caroline asked her to write a character reference letter for Tommy and of course she did it. She and Dina already weren't speaking at that point so I don't think she thought about how she'd feel about it at all, she was just trying to help her best friend get her brother in law a lighter sentence.

Yes, but being someone's best friend doesn't give her a pass. The guy orchestrated a violent home invasion and a separate violent assault. Maybe she should have thought about how that would impact the victims. As I said, it tells you who she really is.
