While chatting with Us Weekly Tisha Campbell was asked if she’d ever consider pivoting from acting to reality TV by joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The actress revealed that she was approached to join the hit reality TV show but declined the offer.
“I have been asked,” the former My Wife and Kids star revealed.
“But right now is not the time. I’m not anti, it’s just not the time. I’m not as bold to share like that,” she said. “You have to be bold.”
Meanwhile, Radar Online reports that Hollywood royalty Melanie Griffith is close to landing a deal with Bravo to join the cast of RHOBH.
Sources reveal that the actress, who would add some major spice to the RHOBH cast, is warming up to a lucrative offer to join the Beverly Hills Housewives franchise.
“Melanie’s been thinking about it for a while — and the money’s too good to turn down,” an insider said. “Bosses have been trying to lure her for years, but she was too nervous. However, in recent months, she’s gotten to know Kyle well — and Kyle’s been so nice and that’s helped change her mind.”
“She might meet a guy in the process and add excitement to her life, which has been predictable as of late,” the source explained. “Everyone else seems to be having all the fun. This would help her to get out more.”
The RHOBH cast has several opening for season 14 with the departures of Crystal Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley. There’s also rumors floating around that OG Kyle Richards may not return and that longtime star Dorit Kemsley could be on the chopping block.
Bravo has yet to official announce any hirings for season 14 of RHOBH.
Filming for season 14 is expected to begin in May or June.
