Andy Cohen Doubles Down That The Divide On RHONJ Is Not Sustainable For Future Seasons But Says It Worked For Season 14

Andy Cohen is doubling down on his statement regarding future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Earlier this week Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander appeared on the Gabbing With Gib podcast where he reported that Andy Cohen said the zero interactions or communication between RHONJ stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Margaret Josephs throughout season 14 will NOT work for future seasons of the series.

Andy Cohen is now clarifying the comments he made saying that the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” isn’t sustainable with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga still at odds on his show Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live

Andy doubles down saying, “Want to clear something up or want to add to a comment that I made that has made some news this week and I don’t know when I said it, but apparently, I said it to Brice from Entertainment Tonight, and I don’t know when. I haven’t seen him since BravoCon, I don’t think. Apparently, I told him and it got picked up all over the place that Jersey, the idea of having both Melissa and Theresa on the show, that it’s not sustainable because they’re not speaking and there are kind of two camps on the show. What I want to clarify is that I maintain that statement.”

Andy explains why it isn’t sustainable adding,

“It isn’t a sustainable universe to have kind of two camps on the show and I think you see that with Potomac this season and why a lot of viewers, including me, were frustrated with it, but I will say this. It somehow worked this season. We got through the season and it worked and it’s interesting and as I think you see from the trailer, the season is not about Melissa versus Teresa and I think that’s great, yet they’re both still on the show and we want to see them on the show.”

Andy ends off by saying while it worked this season – it won’t work in the future, “They’re both, you know, they’re both stars and they’ve been on the show, you know, forever, so it worked this season, but I stand by what I’m saying that for the future, it’s not sustainable. I don’t want you to think that what I said was a condemnation on this season.”

This is (article specifically) is raising the idea of Teresa leaving the show. If she does good for her, let her be on something that highlights her gifts and talents. Let Melissa become everyone else’s target as she takes Teresa’s place. She’ll learn pretty quickly who her real friends are.

No one wants to watch Messy and her fugly sisters or hag friends, Messy offers nothing, her story line will always be Teresa. If by some miracle Messy got Teresa's spot, Margret would turn on her in a minute, bringing up all the dirt, cheating, lawsuits, financial problems, stripper past , little BBoy rape accusations , etc. And you know the D'Atrias would jump on that train.

Like all the others except Teresa, Melissa's friends are real people, not co-workers. Teresa doesn't have friends in reality nor as co-workers because she is too nasty and has that disgusting husband. Teresa's only co-worker pretend friend is her flying monkey, Jennifer, who probably can't wait for Teresa to vacate her slot!

It isn't really about Teresa vs Melissa. It is about Teresa expiring seasons ago and the addition of Luis made the show reek. Either they get rid of her and give it a season to see how it goes or they scrap it all. There would be no reason to get rid of Melissa because Teresa always has perceived enemies plus they don't want to lose Joe. If they just got rid of Melissa and Marge it wouldn't help.

That is why the ratings dropped significantly last season. Teresa was expired and when you factor in Luis, people didn't want to watch at all. Luis is probably still mad at her for not getting the $200,000 from "House of Villains". Ha! Just guessing on that although no way she won. I did think it was telling that she was on a show that not only features the former villains of reality TV but that it seems most or all of them are "former". ?

I’m sorry that’s a fable. Teresa’s special earned ratings comparable to the reunions. T isn’t the reason, IF, ratings dropped. My source suggests otherwise. And sense when is 880,000 people no one? I’m sure that’s significant enough for them to keep entirely the same cast. You forget Teresa gets paid for being on the show in general. If not, what would the incentive be for celebrities to go on there when they only have a 1/10 chance of winning. Not only that she gains the publicity. And Louie has his own money. How do you think he paid CASH for a million dollar home. You sound dumb.

Yes! If Ross is this much in a tizzy now, wait until the season airs and people that do watch are criticizing and making fun Teresa in the comment section here. From what was shown when they were filming, there were outings that Luis wasn't invited to and one that Teresa got mad and left early. Looks like the fun people shunned the nasty ones!

She isn't going to be on something unless it is some reject HW's jobs here and there sort of like House of Villains. Luis will dump her sooner if she's fired so there's that. Meanwhile, she checked out two seasons ago so not getting renewed may be the best thing for her in the long run. The divorce will get started and she can figure out where she is going to live and how she will support herself on her own without bravo. The best part is she will disappear.

Oh, isn't this funny! The season is in general bad but he had to backtrack from saying earlier that it is so bad there will be changes next season and please still watch this season. Ha! Should have gotten rid of the one with the vendetta (Teresa) who checked out two seasons prior when she added the threatening thug who alienated everyone except Teresa's flying monkey, Jennifer. It was obvious she needed to be gone after last season and the ratings showed it. If there is a need for fighting, Danielle and Jennifer will more than fill the slot if they keep them both. Marge can yell at them when they are ridiculous.

Watching the show to see what really happened with Danielle and Jennifer. Jennifer already has a lot of enemies on the show. Why would she start drama and make up rumors knowing somebody else would come after her? Just don’t understand

She probably suspected from the beginning that Teresa 2.0 was hired to potentially take Teresa's place after they finally get rid of her but Jennifer has been the understudy for that spot for years. Even Teresa said on camera, "She reminds me of me". They do have a lot in common even though Danielle isn't from NJ. Jennifer will try to run her off like Teresa has done with her brother and his wife for years. That was why in the very beginning Jennifer invited her over to size her up and then set her up to be the bad guy with Teresa's yet another "Melissa is cheating" rumor. Danielle seems to have wised up and decided to be friendly with Teresa's perceived enemies yet still obnoxious and stupid (like Teresa). IMO based on what I watched.

It's interesting that Pimpdaddy is likening NJ with Potomac whom he says clearly isn't working ... and we know how that ended up (for Robyn, Candyass, and whoever else they're still planning on firing). It should be the Grand dame, but if they kept two White women (Gina and Shannon) who were busted for the same crime, they can't hardly get rid of a black woman for the same thing.
