Ariana Madix shares her side of the story after her-boyfriend Tom Sandoval claims she’s skipped out on paying bills at their house.
On this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules Tom Sandoval claimed that Ariana Madix hasn’t paid any bills for their home for eight months after his affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed.
“My bank account was literally overdrawn. Dude, Ariana hadn’t paid any of the bills for, like, f–king eight months, man,” Sandoval told Tom Schwartz on Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules.
Sandoval went on to claim that he was “moving $1,000 around to this account” and “moving $500 from this account” in order to pay the mortgage for his and Ariana’s Valley Village home.
“I’ve been pretty much paying for everything out of all my accounts. Mortgage, gardener, cleaning, utilities, everything. It’s kind of like pulling teeth to get Ariana to pay me back,” Sandoval further alleged in his confessional interview.
On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and the Vanderpump Rules cast further discussed Sandoval’s claims about money and bills.
Sandoval insists that he needed to go on tour with his band, Tom Sandoval and Most Extras, to keep paying his bills.
“I needed to go on tour to keep the bills paid,” Sandoval said. “I had money that I as counting on. I had to tour.”
He then noted that he continues to have money issues to this day and that he has yet to “resolve” any financial concerns with Ariana.
As for Ariana, she claims to have requested “an itemized breakdown” of everything she owes for bills from Tom which he has failed to provide.
The 38-year-old said she no longer believes anything Sandoval says and refuses to just hand him over whatever amount of money he claims to be owed. She insists she won’t give Sandoval a dime until she sees a breakdown of everything.
Ariana explained:
“I have asked repeatedly for years at this point for an itemized breakdown of said bills that he’s talking about. Because we would always put money into a joint account and then have that account be the one that was, like, hooked up to all of these different things. Bills just come out of it automatically, and then, oh, the balance is getting low. We both go put the same amount of money in that account. We refinanced in 2021.
And at that point, things changed. The account that the mortgage started coming out of was no longer the joint account. It was his account. And I then that was at the same time that he got this HELOC loan that I cosigned.” She added: “So, basically, I had asked for this itemized breakdown for so long, and It would be like, oh, you know, you owe x amount of money. And I’m like, how did you figure this out?”
“When we were together, maybe I would have trusted that to be accurate. But once all this went down, it’s like, I don’t trust the word you say. So if you are gonna tell me that I owe you a certain amount of money, you better be able to show your work,” she continued.
Co-star Katie Maloney interjected, asking:
“So as of the refinance, I can’t prove except that I’ve, like, given him checks for, like, Random amounts of money,” Ariana replied. “But now I don’t write him checks because I don’t believe a word he says about what I owe him.”
“I also found out that the amount of money I was giving him every month for the mortgage was an overpayment. So until I get that breakdown, which I’ve asked now 3 different assistants for, uh, you ain’t getting For me, because you can’t show me what actually this is, and I don’t believe a word you say. You’ve proven yourself to be untrustworthy,” she noted.
Sandoval countered that he was annoyed with the cost and time it would take to itemize the bills he and Ariana share, telling the cameras: “It’s like I have to pay for accounting to, like, send every, like, detailed receipt. It’s like, yo, like, this is the bank statement. This is what came out of my account from Spectrum.”
“It’s annoying. I feel like she’s just trying to be difficult, but whatever. I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know what to do,” he complained.
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
