Just when you think the complicated relationships on Southern Charm couldn’t get any more incestuous, they do.
During part one of the Southern Charm season 9 reunion, Olivia Flowers admits that she hooked up with Thomas Ravenel.
As longtime Bravo fans know, Thomas starred on Southern Charm from the show’s premiere in 2014 until season 5 in 2018. The controversial Bravo star was fired from the show following his arrest for second-degree assault and battery against the former nanny of his children.
At the Southern Charm reunion, Olivia was arguing with best friend Taylor Ann Green about her hookup with Austen Kroll when Taylor blurted out that Olivia previously had a tryst with Thomas.
“Forgive as you want to be forgiven,” Taylor cryptically told Olivia, which confused the rest of the Southern Charm cast and reunion host, Andy Cohen.
Yet, Olivia knew exactly what Taylor was alluding to, so she told her estranged BFF, “Go ahead and say it. I already see what you’re trying to do.”
“You’ve been hanging this over my head. I wanna see it. Say it. Say it,” she continued.
Andy interjected and pressed Taylor to reveal what she was implying. However, co-star Craig Conover beat her to the bunch, blurting out, “Well, just say it now. I mean, we’re here.”
“The whole Thomas situation,” Taylor said with a smile before the camera panned to other members of the Southern Charm cast, who looked stunned.
“Thomas Ravenel?” Andy clarified.
“Yeah,” Olivia admitted.
She explained, “I was fresh out of college, 20 years old, dumb drunken night, one time, had a hookup with T-Rav, and I wanted to take [it] to my grave. Who wouldn’t?”
Olivia then circled back to the Southern Charm season 8 reunion when co-star Madison LeCroy first brought up gossip that the 31-year-old hooked up with Thomas, who is 30 years her senior.
Thomas shares two children with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis, who is Olivia’s close friend and former co-star.
At the time, Olivia denied the rumors she ever dated Thomas and instead insisted that they were just family friends. Taylor also had Olivia’s back amid the gossip.
“Right afterward, I sat down with Taylor, and I said, ‘I appreciate you taking up for me, but you should know something did happen, and she’s the only person I told on earth about that, and here you are sitting now trying to use it against me,” Olivia said at the season 9 reunion.
Andy was scratching his head about why Olivia needed to be “forgiven” for hooking up with Thomas over a decade ago.
“I mean, same situation,” Taylor replied. “Kathryn is a friend and a confidant, and you lied about it, so why didn’t you go to Kathryn and say ‘I’m sorry?'”
Olivia fired back that she didn’t even “know Kathryn then” and met her long “after it happened.”
“You told me it was five years ago after baby number two,” Taylor insisted.
When asked by Andy if Thomas was dating Kathryn at the time of their hookup, Olivia said she did “not believe so,” which led the Watch What Happens Live host to ask again why the hookup was such a “bad” thing at this point in time.
“Because she’s just been sitting there chomping at the bit to use it against me,” Olivia explained, directing her response at Taylor. “Not only have you proven yourself to be a s–t friend, you’re a s–t human, too.”
Meanwhile, both Thomas and Kathyrn reacted to being dragged into the drama on the Southern Charm season 9 reunion.
“The only time Southern Charm makes ratings is when I’m on the show, even in my absentia! When I quit the show, they canceled it for one season, looking for my replacement, and finally, it was in the aggregate with three new cast members!!” Thomas wrote.
He added: “My point is I actually desire that I not be drawn into the show, and if they have to for ratings, they should end it. I have growing children, and I don’t want to be pulled into a reunion show.”
While Thomas had an egotistical and nasty reaction to being mentioned at the reunion, Kathryn simply showed love and support for her friend Olivia.
“We have never been closer. You did nothing wrong and don’t need to worry about being judged by me,” Kathryn wrote.
The final part of the Southern Charm reunion airs next Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
