The RHOSLC cast broke down after discovering their costar, Monica Garcia, played a role in alleged “character assassinations” on social media.
RHOLSC newbie Monica Garcia is on thin ice with her co-stars.
On Tuesday’s RHOSLC season 4 finale, the ladies discovered that Monica was allegedly behind the snarky Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.
Heather Gay explained that the Reality Von Tease Instagram account was “dedicated to annihilating and exposing” former RHOSLC star Jen Shah before quickly expanding its attacks to her, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks.
“These were character assassinations,” Heather said of Reality Von Tease‘s posts since the page was created over three years ago. “But we never knew who it was.”
Heather made the discovery that Monica was behind the Reality Von Tease Instagram account during the finale day of the RHOSLC cast trip to Bermuda. Heather’s longtime hairdresser and Monica’s former friend, Tenesha, “came clean” about Monica’s involvement in the troll account.
After breaking the news to Whitney, Lisa, and Meredith on the beach, Heather confronted Monica at dinner.
“I know who you really are,” Heather told Monica. “Who you really are is the cyberbully internet troll Reality Von Tease.”
“You are Reality Von Tease. You are an Internet troll. You are a cyberbully. You have been tweeting, undermining, and bullying all of us for four years. You are Reality Von Tease. I have the facts to prove it, and I know texts came from your phone number,” Heather shouted.
Despite her initial denial, Monica then confessed, “That’s not entirely true,” which shocked the ladies who were dying to know what “not entirely” meant.
“That means it’s part true,” Monica replied.
“I didn’t say s— about anyone else other than Jen, and I will own that to the grave,” the RHOSLC rookie shouted at the women. She then claimed that numerous other people, including Heahter’s hairdresser and Jen’s former designer, Koa Johnson, were also responsible for the account.
In her confessional, Monica admitted that she didn’t see Reality Von Tease as a “bad thing.” Instead, she claimed, “I think that’s just telling the truth.”
She also said that the group behind Reality Von Tease had a goal to “take down Jen Shah,” noting that the other women “were just collateral damage.”
Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
